Character Biography

Full name: Allison Elizabeth Fleet

Specializations: Stellar Cartography and Xeno-Linguistics

Appearance:
Allison is a bit tall, with dirty-blonde hair and orange-brown eyes. She has a Caucasian skin tone. Her straight hair is relatively long, reaching down to her shoulder-blades. She is well groomed, usually keeping her hair in a ponytail, with a few chunks of shorter hair hanging loose in front of her ears on either side of her head. She has no notable birthmarks or scars.

History:
Born in London, UK in 2130, she was the elder of two children, her younger brother being Kenneth Fleet. Their mother was a surgeon, and their father was involved in starship design. Their family moved to Toronto, Canada when Allison was thirteen, so that her mother could take over the family horticultural business (Cavendish Nursery Services), so she absorbed most of the culture there, but never lost all of her English accent. When Allison was 17, she entered training in Starfleet to be a science ensign. She focused mainly on Astronomy, Physics, and Linguistics. In 2150, she spent a semester in Brazil at the Amazon University, learning under Hoshi Sato. The next year, assigned to the Enterprise, she saw her mentor again. Kenny, three years her junior, also became a part of Starfleet.
In 2157, Allison and two others were sent into a nebula to examine a planetary body that had been observed to be within the nebula. There was an issue with the shuttlecraft, and a crash landing. Allison was the only survivor, and various technical issues prevented the ship from sensing the presence of survivors, leaving Allison alone on the planetoid with no way to contact anyone. Strangely, although no atmosphere read on the planetoid from orbit, Allison found that she could breath outside the shuttlecraft, and after some exploration, she found a pleasant grove with fruit trees and vegetables and a small house.
She lived there until 2392, kept entertained by caring for the grove and reading books from the large library that the house came complete with. There was also a small interactive holographic program which was able to interact in a limited function with Allison. (These books and holographic program, in many different languages, allowed her to maintain and refine her skills in Xenolinguistics.) There were texts on many subjects she had never heard of before, but in the almost 250 years during which she was stuck on the planetoid, Allison was able to read and understand most of what was in each book she read. Some of these texts contained science and information that hadn’t been discovered by humans yet in the 2100s, but had been discovered by the late 2300s, so she’s not as behind in knowledge as she should be.
The planetoid itself was somewhat interesting, but she gave up exploring it after she found that the air space didn’t extend far beyond her little home. She lost track of the days and years - possibly because there was no real sunlight shining on the Planetoid, so it always had a hazy twilight kind of light.
In 2392, a signal from the transceiver she had created from spare parts on the crashed shuttlecraft was picked up by the Genesis, and was rescued. After a period of adjustment, the young officer was thrust into action as she resumed her career.
She spent a few years aboard the Genesis, adapting to life in the future and gradually getting more accustomed to her new world. She even developed a small romantic relationship with one Rovan Moor, pilot extraordinaire. In late 2393, she was nearly fatally injured during a ship-wide evacuation. It was a medical miracle that she survived what should have been totally fatal to her. She was in a coma for about 6 months, and when she woke up, Rovan Moor had left the Genesis. Soon after that, Allison asked for leave from the Genesis, going to Earth to… adjust. She spent the rest of 2394 living with her brother’s descendants on the same property she had grown up on, the old Cavendish Tree Nursery, grateful they were so willing to fold her into their family.
In early 2395, she discovered that Rovan had ended up on the Athena, and quickly put in a transfer request, and was soon accepted to the Athena.
Upon her arrival on the Athena, Allison and Rovan became engaged, and within a few months it was discovered that she was pregnant. As per a long decided plan, Rovan took a leave of absence to care for his pregnant wife-to-be, and Allison resigned her commission with Starfleet. She had, after all, served a couple centuries longer than she was expecting to. They were married about a month before she was due.
When she gave birth to two healthy Human/Ktarian babies (Sophie and Kasper), Rovan decided to go back to the fleet, and Allison followed him, babies and all.
She’s not in Starfleet, but she helps when she can.

Family:
Mother: Doctor Grace Fleet (Deceased)
Father: Frederick Fleet (Deceased)
Siblings: Kenneth Fleet (Deceased)
Husband: Rovan Moor
Children: Sophie “Soap” Grace Moor and Kasper “Kas” Lythe Moor, born June 1/2397

Medical History:
She is remarkably healthy, and whatever kept her alive on the planetoid also kept her body in a perfectly ideal state. No detectable bone breaks or previous illnesses. Even her near-fatal injury from late 2393 has healed completely and no sign of it is visible.
She also has a perfect memory, unable to forget anything she has learned. This condition is a side-effect of whatever was done to make her “immortal” on the planetoid.

Known Languages:
Due to several factors, Allison is fluent in several different languages. Firstly, she is highly skilled in languages, and in a normal lifetime could have become fluent in ten or eleven languages. Secondly, the process that made her functionally immortal whilst on the planetoid also made her brain quite elastic and prevented her from forgetting anything she has ever learned. Thirdly, the library on the planetoid provided her ample opportunity to learn and hone her knowledge in many languages.

Fluent Human Languages: Federation Standard, English, Mandarin, German, Dutch, Spanish, French
Fluent Alien Languanges: Klingon, Vulcan, Andorian, Xindi, Tellarite, Denobulan, Bolian, Cardassian, Bajoran, Betazoid, Ktarian, Caitian
Semi-Fluent: Galdori, Ferengi, Swahili
Working on: Makonde, Hindi
