Background:

Cassandra is the middle child of her family, with an older sister and a younger brother. Growing up, Cassandra ultimately chose to join Starfleet due to a dislike of running the family mining consortium. She was given a Terran name due to her father being a Federation Ambassador, named for his long-time aide and friend. At the academy, Cassandra excelled at security and command, choosing security as her main focus.

In 2374, Cassandra received the medal of valor for her part in stopping an onboard mutiny during her assignment to the USS Dante. Soon thereafter, she took a leave of absence to receive the Rixan symbiont. Upon her return, she was assigned to the USS Aztec as Chief of Security and was promoted to full grade Lieutenant soon thereafter. She eventually worked her way up to the second officer in addition to her duties as security chief.

In 2382, she was promoted and reassigned to the USS Cape Town as the first officer. She also served as first officer about the USS Yorktown before being promoted to Captain and receiving her first command, the USS Halifax.

Medical History:

Cassandra is a relatively healthy individual, particularly given her background in security she learned early that a body in peak condition was a great weapon. She did have a few minor scrapes and bruises from putting down the mutiny on the Dante and keeping Captain Alexandra Kingsley alive. Admiral Kingsley still sings Cassandra’s praises to this day.

Psychological Evaluation:

Cassandra is a well-balanced individual, as described by Counselor Rebecca Arayn, who counseled the survivors of the Dante. She had occasional nightmares about it, but was able to work through it and become better for it.
