Starfleet Academy Report - October 2018

Overall a quiet month in the Academy. I’m hoping this month we can get some more progress made on some ongoing projects.

USS Challenger

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Geoff Joosten

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: We are at the very end completion. The cadets are at the station awaiting to see what is in the box and then we can close it out for graduation. I am targeting the start of the new SIM for the first week of December

Spotlight: Huge thanks to Ray for being a great CO. He will truly be missed. Huge welcome to Dave! He has really gotten involved with things and I am looking forward to working with him in the future.

FComm’s Comments: No CO or XO report this month. CO due to being newly appointed, XO due to a LOA. Overall I’m pleased with the progress on the Challenger.

USS Endeavour

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: Katherine Dedul

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Overall the ship has been doing well, admittedly my posting has been somewhat slow due to real life. Things appear to be moving along slowly, but moving along none the less.

Spotlight:

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The Endeavor is moving back to port after having dealt with the Drachin creatures who had come from 19th Century London to the Endeavor with the sole intent to devour souls to strengthen themselves. However the resultant battle has rendered many systems in the ship to be less than optimal. Most items are not critical and can be taken care of as they come in routine fixes. Some needs work and others distinct looking at such as deuterium injectors and the rather trashed main shuttle bay.

As they do this and look at new crew coming aboard the orders trickle in for their new mission - supply and support mission to a world called Craxus III and a vessel there called the SeaHawk. A unique world, this system will challenge them in their logistics as each department is tasked to do the things they do best.

FComm’s Comments: Overall a slow month on the Endy. I will be attempting to take steps to keep myself active on the ship, I don’t think right now it’s overly concerning at this stage, just a slow patch.

-Kat, Academy Commandant
