Ship Status: Posting has been good. Not spectacular but good. The sim is progressing and were doing great. I had to do some prompting on AWOLs and LOAs but that went well.

Ship Status: For some reason posting has really been off last October. Folks have been posting, but their posts don’t seem to contribute anything. Even my own posts haven’t been immune to this trend. We haven’t gotten any further into the story than we were in September.

Spotlight: Spotlight on Sam Pennington who plays chief engineer Michael Gould for stepping up during the Away Team to the derelict starship thread. He took initiative while the rest of us were mere zombies. Special shout out to Terry Sullivan who plays our CAG Commander Richard “Ricochet” O’Shea for having to carry thread nearly all by himself.

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: No report was submitted by the GM. The ship had a total of 89 Post’s which was slower than last month at 135 Post’s. Overall the ship seems to be moving forward with only a few AWOL’s having occurred during the month.

USS Chernov

Ship Status: Posting has picked up a bit this month so things aren’t quite as slow as they were last month. We have finally found our footing in the sim again as I think we all got lost there for a bit. I would like to see it pick up a bit more but it is doing okay at this level.

Spotlight: I would like to highlight our new Comms officer, Rob Thompson for some great comic relief as he introduces his new character. It has brought both some lightness and a bit of conflict with him and the staid XO:)

Ship Status: The ship is still in dire straits. The CO is trying to launch a rescue party to get the XO, Kane and a few more NE’s back from the Cardassian ship. The XO is currently talking to the Cardassian CO and securing the safety and future of the crew that has been taken with him because he believes the Chernov to be destroyed.

Spotlight: Ricky “Ducky” Johnson for his new character that is keeping the ship entertained with his antics and musicals. Breathing in fresh new air into the ship.

Sim Overview: The crew has started boarding the Cardassian vessel. What awaits them as they attempt to rescue their comrades and finish repairs on the remains of the engines?

Spotlight: Robert Thompson and James Sinclair. These two gentlemen have been keeping the show alive. I am grateful for them during my little LOA for illness to keep interest in threads.

FComm’s Comments: This ship had a great month with a 144 Post’s compared to a slower September of 90 post’s. Overall the ship appears to be moving along in a strong way.

USS Odin

Ship Status: Borg are asking for Carbon units as we try and find out the source of the ship. Some slow downs due to a few RL issues, but overall okay.

Ship Status: The away team is still on the alien ship. The alien is now asking the away team to help it regain its “memory” and the crew needs to decided whether or not that would be a good idea.

FComm’s Comments: No GM Report. The ship is exploding especially for a slow paced vessel with 149 post’s this month compared to 42 last month.

USS Saracen

FComm’s Comments: No reports have been submitted for the Saracen. There is concern with the XO being listed as AWOL for 49 days. Even with this the ship is doing very well with 215 posts in October compared to 193 last month. Overall a great performer.
