Academy Report - November 2018

Starfleet Academy Report - December 2018

It was a slow month in the Academy, mostly due to my own real-life commitments, but the ships are in decent health and much of the outstanding work in the Academy isn’t terribly urgent, my aim is to try and knock down some of that work this coming month and into January.

-Kat, Academy Commandant

USS Challenger

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: Steve Johnson

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: It’s been a slow month for me, due to RL reasons. However, I am proud to see that the Challenge kept moving along without my presence. The crew is still active and well engaged with the simm.

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: Well I shall thwap the CO and GM a bit later for not submitting their reports, but otherwise the Challenger appears to be chugging along nicely.

USS Endeavour

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: Katherine Dedul

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: A slow-ish month on the Endy, but we are beginning our new mission so progress! So far everyone seems to be keeping busy, a few AWOL notices here and there, but nothing super serious.

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: Since the last report, the different departments have been contacted relating to the sim at hand. Each one was presented with a potential mission profile that they could undertake, time and command permitting. All that at this time is awaiting is for the ship to head out and make it’s ‘Delivery’.

Essentially, the SeaHawk, a converted starship for underwater operations is exploring the world of Craxus III. Abounding in sea life and mostly a water world, the planet holds a number of mysteries and things to explore. It is also a difficult world, where the natural radiation of the planet breaks down replicated goods and some of the sea life interfers with powered machinery. Complicate this with surveyors and surfers and a natural phenomenon as ‘icefall’ and this world keeps everyone on their toes. Or fins.

Let’s see how they do :)

FComm’s Comments: Overall the sim is progressing at a good pace and everyone seems to be posting regularly (outside of the CO and myself as XO, which I’ll punish myself later). Otherwise, the ship is in tip-top shape.
