The Infinite Fleet Report - March 2019

USS Chimera

Commanding Officer: Philip Graham

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: The ship is getting back moving, due to real life issue I had a longer than expected LOA during the month resulting in a total post’s on board of 65. The ship has lost the CMO to real life health issues. The sim is moving forward with the help of the Security Chief Lt. Tenkiller.

Spotlight: James Sinclair - For taking a leading role in the current sim.

Vacancies: All JO positions
Chief Medical Officer

Executive Officer: Sam Pennington

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: Things keep speeding up and slowing down, so it’s hard to predict when the sim will end. When people are involved and interested, things really do pick up. As the story goes, things are interesting, the leading native character is on the brink of death.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO’s in all depts

Gamemaster: Luke Hung

Crew Posting Level: 3
Senior Staff Posting Level: 4
Overall Ship Health: 4

Sim Overview: The sim is moving along, I’ve always been off in predicting how long a sim has left. They really are at the end game now. On the other hand we have some sporadic posting that keeping us from really picking up speed and finishing this baby off.

Spotlight:

AFComm’s Comments: The crew have been really engaging with the sim and pushing it along at a nice pace. At the time of writing these comments there are no AWOL crew and just a handful of players on LOA - Keep up the good work.

USS Constellation

Commanding Officer: Louis Harvatt

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Overall it was a quiet month for the USS Constellation with no additions to the crew or any departures of current crew members. In the month of February, there were 2 LOA’s, 6 AWOLS and 74 posts made making it a quiet month for the ship.

Although there has been little movement in the main sim the side sims seem to be popular and going well.

Spotlight: All of the crew for posting even though the main sim is going slower than usual.

Vacancies: See USS Constellation’s ship profile.

Executive Officer: Liam Schoepp

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Right now the ship is operating as well at it can be with a group of weirdos such as us onboard. The crew have been keeping themselves busy, and it looks to be an interesting time in the main sim. Hopefully our characters won’t be cleaning pie out of their hair when it is over.

Spotlight: Spotlights for this month go out to Robert Thompson for his Entertainment Coordinator character keeping everyone entertained to the best of his ability. Honestly I can’t wait to see where the icebreaker side sim goes with him in it.

Vacancies: None that I can think of ATM

Gamemaster: Excused New GM Coming In

Crew Posting Level:
Senior Staff Posting Level:
Overall Ship Health:

Sim Overview:

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: The Connie has finally settled in with Louis as her new Captain and due to Phil’s unfortunate internet loss Louis has chosen to replace him with a new GM to try and get things moving on the Connie. Unfortunately Phil’s sim never really took off so this might be for the best. Cue in the welcome for Emily Stephenson! I am quite excited to see Ems GMing on the Connie and look forward to seeing what she has in store for us. Welcome back, Ems! The Connie has a good and stable crew with excellent rpers so I do foresee it going strong once we have a stable sim.

Starbase Magellan

Commanding Officer: Amber DeSadier

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: We are well under way with our main sim. Maybe even closing on the end soon. Everyone is posting well. I am awol because I have been sick for the last 5 days. Ill post tonight or tomorrow hopefully.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: Chief Science Officer and Chief of Strategic Operations.

Executive Officer: Steve Johnson

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Magellan has slowed down a bit, partially because of me. We are coming up to the end of the simm, which will be nice to wrap up. Hopefully we can wrap it up soon, and get things moving more smoothly again.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Gamemaster: Geoff Joosten

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: The crew is responding to the pirates to see if they can be subdued and brought in for questioning. I think we are working towards the climax which is always good. I think, however, that my estimate of the end of march is ambitious. I am going to reassess and say the end of May to be on the safe side.

Spotlight: None this month. The whole crew is very strong and I applaud them for it.

AFComm’s Comments: Posting has slowed a little this month due to a number of RL factors affecting the senior staff & GM, but that said, the ship has remained very active with the crew posting well. Keep up the good work.

USS Viking

Commanding Officer: No report submitted Unexcused

Executive Officer: Jim Watkin

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The crew have been posting well during the last month and the sim is progressing and getting established.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Gamemaster: No report submitted Unexcused

FComm’s Comments: The Viking seems to be getting into the meat of Josh’s sim with some truly horrifying goings on. Decapitated heads and great devil dogs! I would like to see her more active sim wise but hopefully we’ll get there soon. She does have a strong crew. I have no true concerns with her at the moment.

As a whole I would say that the Infinite Fleet is doing well. No ship is in dire straits though the Connie is still settling in with Louis as a new CO and now a new GM coming in there. I would like to see each ship moving along well with sims and crews active but I think we are getting there. I feel very happy with the Command Staff I have on each ship. All in all not too bad of a last report for the term. Thank you for the opportunity to serve, Adam! And thank you to Jim for continuing to work with me in the Infinite Fleet!
