Overall Ship Health: 6
Ship Status: We dropped in posting a little. I was out for a week on business and the Gm was out a little. However overall the sim is progressing well and the crew involved.
Spotlight: R Smith is always a good balancing force on the ship. Always looking to get people involved. executes the duty of XO extremely well.

Ship Status: Posting has really lagged in February. Not sure why.
Spotlight: Spotlight on Melissa Aragon and Timothy Frogue, two newcomers who didn’t let the lagging pace get to them and kept on participating.
Vacancies: We need a new Chief Medical Officer.

Sim Overview: The Brian Olinski was tasked to find out what had happened to the USS Dragoon who had lost contact with Starfleet. Reaching the last known position of the Dragoon, the Olinksi discover a weapon that made use of microwaves that controlled the people. The Dragoon was powered down and empty. Destroying the weapon, the crew of the Olinksi proceeded to find the crew of the Dragoon. It was discovered that the planet was more than what it seemed. Another away team was investigating what secrets the planet held.

FComm’s Comments: Crew has been working hard on the Olinski as they have had a great month.
USS Chernov

Ship Status: The Chernov is doing fairly well though we have slowed down the last week or so due to Phil having lost his internet. He has a fascinating sim lined up for us and fortunately it was easy to insert the IC change of command between Travis and I in it. That should be in force in the next week or so if Phil can post. I think Travis is ready and will be a strong CO for the Chernov and am interested in watching in action.

Ship Status: We are doing good. Been a slow month since the new GM went on loa. But with side SIM s we’ve been doing good. Started a new SIM that is secret and it involves the current Captain stepping down and me, the XO assuming command. There are some Vulcan’s on board and we are heading to old Vulcan.
Spotlight: The whole crew for keeping busy and the CMO and Kane with their medical drill.

Sim Overview: The Odin was asked to investigate the presence of a tetrahedral shaped ship with signatures that were similar but not the same with the Borg. During their investigations, an away team was able to board the ship and discovered that the ship was running itself. Like the Borg, the ship controlled itself using nanites. Unlike the Borg, there were no drones. After repeated attempts to communicate, the CO decided to bring back the away team. There were nanites that were secretly transported with the away team. The engineering team has managed to isolate the nanites. The story continues …
