While on the whole the members of Star-Fleet.com do an excellent job appreciating bacon, it has been brought to my attention that there have been those among us who refer to non-bacon foods like tofu bacon as bacon.
Effective immediately all non-pork fake bacon is to be referred to as facon. For example, this would be an acceptable usage: “Someone actually eats tofu facon. Do you believe that?” To accommodate our members outside of the United States, alternate spellings of facon shall be acceptable as long as they do not contain the letter “B.”
