The Meridian Fleet Report - April 2019

USS Brian A. Olinski

Commanding Officer: Sidney Parker

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: If there was a 6.5 rating I probably would have done that as a rating. Some drop off by key crew but the sim is still moving along just fine. The LOA{s have hurt us mainly but these things happen in life. I´m happy with the crew and ship and as always feel we are one of the best no matter what the situation is.

Spotlight: R Smith who not only does the Xo duties but can always be counted on to fill a NE role when needed without anyone asking.

Vacancies:

Executive Officer: R Smith

Crew Posting Level: 4
Senior Staff Posting Level: 4
Overall Ship Health: 4

Ship Status: Posting is sluggish. Lots of LOAs and AWOLs.

Spotlight: Spotlight on Luke Hung who plays Chief Science Officer Balfor Kolar for being the only player not to post late once this month.

Vacancies: We need a Chief Medical Officer.

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: Olly is always a solid, even with the slight dip in posting over the month. Overall they have a solid group despite the few minor issues.

USS Chernov

Commanding Officer: Krystelle McLean

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: We are in the final stages of completing the Command changeover In Character so it is an exciting moment for Travis I think. Phil has been great in including this in sim. The sim is just starting to take off and I can’t wait to get into the meat of it, it does sound intriguing. The Chernov is being sent to Old Vulcan to search for a vault of information that should contain the Vulcan’s efforts, before the planet was destroyed, to find a suitable planet for a Vulcan colony. Doubly important now that their planet has been destroyed. This is the given reason for the Command changeover as well.

Spotlight: We have so many stellar posters that it is hard to pinpoint an individual one at the moment. Kudos to everyone! I am so proud of our crew:)

Vacancies: We could use Engs and Meds!

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Philip Graham

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: The Chernov has moved forward with the sim well. The crew is getting involved and seem excited to move forward. Currently the ‘Vulcan High Command’ or better stated the surviving members of the High Command have revealed that there are surviving members of the Vulcan race who were off world. There is information that may have survived and is in the wreckage of the planet that may help the Vulcans to build a new civilization. The Chernov has been tasked with finding these items in the vast wreckage and debris of Vulcan. It has just been revealed that there are Romulans and Orions in the area.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: Chernov had some ups and downs and while this month has been a little slow for them they have been heading into a solid pace over the past few months.

USS Odin

Commanding Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: New sim is coming under way as we finish off the Borg threat.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: Odin has had a small slump, but has been staying in relative pace for a slow ship. New sim coming will help make it pick up its pace.

USS Saracen

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: Christopher Bennett

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 9

Ship Status: The Saracen had over 150 posts for the month of March and we started a new sim. Our new GM, Krystelle McLean has what appears to be a new and exciting sim for us. Overall the ship is very healthy and we are excited to start a new sim.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: None

Gamemaster: Krystelle McLean

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: The Saracen is a very active ship with crew that loves to post! Unfortunately the sim has been a bit slow on starting but we are finally moving! The Saracen has been charged with heading out to the Breteka Nebula to check out some unusual signals. What will they find?

Spotlight: There are so many people to spotlight! I have really enjoyed the side sims of character growth and look forward to getting to know each character better:)

FComm’s Comments: Of all the ships in Meridian for March, Saracen has the biggest output. The crew is firing on all cylinders and it shows. Always a pleasure to read and a wonderful cast of charterers.
