The Foremost Fleet Report - May 2019

USS Ark Angel

Commanding Officer: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: Ark Angel is doing overall well a few hiccups this month with loas and awols myself included but the sim chugs along to the final moments with the Yellek ships stabazlied and the sickbay crew wrapping up the wounded.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO’s in all departments

Executive Officer: Trinity Fister

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The Ark Angel has been doing fairly well this month. There were a few LOAs and AWOLs throughout April (some still working to be resolved), but posting remained consistent and the main sim (as well as side sims) have continued to progress. All in all, she’s still kickin’!

Spotlight: Aaron Gulliver; even when he doesn’t have much to go off of, Aaron is quick to make something of every reply! He is a joy to have on board and I can’t wait to see where his character (Oscar Hill) goes!

Mike McDowell; despite some issues IRL, which made it hard for him to post at the beginning of April/end of March, Mike didn’t waste time immersing himself back into the main sim with his thoughtful character responses!

Vacancies: Counselor; JOs for ENG, SCI, and MED

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: The Ark Angel has remained fairly consistent this past month. As the CO and XO stated, there were a few issues with players lagging behind, but they have done a solid job on addressing these.

USS Asimov

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

AFComm’s Comments: The Asimov has recruited several new faces over the month of April! She is in good shape and with a new GM in the mix, crew activity is on the rise.

SS Bonaventure

Commanding Officer: Melissa Aragon

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Doing pretty good. Some shifting and LOAs (including my own) slowed us a bit but we’re catching up.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: I THINK we need a new armory Chief. I’ll know this week. Just coming off LOA but didn’t want to hold up report.
We’ll check other slots as well.

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The Bonnie, after talking with an ancient AI from the Dyson Sphere, a kind of ‘watchman’ program, have decided to move in closer to the sphere to support its two shuttles that it had sent out to help. One is en route to assist an ‘attack’ or ‘raid’ on an antigravity device that is the only thing keeping a family of indigenous aliens (is that an oxymoron or what?!) from being sucked into the black hole in the middle of the sphere’s interior. While some crew are at the habitation where the family is and trying to assist them in evacuating in their own inadequate transport, the others in a pod are dialoguing with the raiders who are particularly boggled by their very presence and anything they are saying.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: There is currently a transition in the XO spot, but even with that the ship is still doing well staying current and the progressing in their SIM.

USS Manhattan

Commanding Officer: James Sinclair

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Ship is docked at Event Horizon station and multiple small side sims are progressing.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: Security, Engineering, and Medical JO’s

Executive Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Delta Quadrant was never an easy place to live in, and the Manhattan is learning just why that is as they explore it’s mysterious.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Gamemaster: Russell Watt

Crew Posting Level: 9
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: I’m back following surgery and recovery and the crew have done a superb job in keeping themselves extremely busy during my absence. James and Steve and the entire crew have my thanks for keeping the ship in such fine shape in my absence.

I’m catching up on the ship with James at the moment and look forward to leading the crew through the adventure I have for them.

Spotlight: The entire crew

FComm’s Comments: The Manhattan has done well during the absence of the GM due to RL needs, and weathered that absence well. A few small AWOLs cropped up, but were addressed in a timely fashion. With the return of the GM, it is expected the Manhattan will begin to pick up speed in their posting.

USS Memorial

Commanding Officer: Kirt Gartner

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: The Ship is readying for combat against the planet-sized object that just has phased in from subspace Captain Zoarhi is preparing her ship for combat by boosting power to the shields and praying to her ancestors that everything will work out

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO:
Engineers X2
Medical X1
Security Officer X1

DH:
N/A

Command:
N/A

Executive Officer: Nathan Derricutt

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: The Sim is progressing at a moderate pace and the crew are also engaging in side sims. These two factors together have helped improve the posting levels for the whole ship. We have also added a couple new members to our ship. This meas we are slowing bringing our numbers up. We are containing to look for new crew and new ideas on how to improve the ship.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO’s in all departments and swing positions.

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: Even though the Memorial is a slow-posting ship, the crew does a good job of remaining active and engaged. No issues to address at this time.
