The Foremost Fleet Report - June 2019

USS Ark Angel

Commanding Officer: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Great wrap up of the AA’s last sim and the crew is now side simming while I settle in some new blood on the AA and prep our next sim which will see the AA going deep into the Beta Quadrant for exploration!

Spotlight:

Vacancies: 1xJO in each Dept

Executive Officer: Trinity Fister

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The Ark Angel has had a good month! Recently our main sim ended, which led to a few much deserved promotions (Doctor Suder, CE Emmitt and COO Trainor). We also have a new face on board! Sarah Hemenway has joined us as our new CoS Allison Devlin. Welcome to the family, Sarah! Overall, the Angel is in good shape.

Spotlight: The entire crew! They’ve done an incredible job keeping up with this last last sim, as well as will their side sims. I cannot wait to see what the next sim has in store!

Vacancies: CNS; JOs in all departments

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: Ship status: Great wrap up of the AA’s last sim and the crew is now side simming while I settle in some new blood on the AA and prep our next sim which will see the AA going deep into the Beta Quadrant for exploration!

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: The Ark Angel is doing well, with only a minor concern as to the status of a JO. The CO and XO are doing a great job of engaging the crew and the side sims seem to be moving along at a steady pace.
AFComm’s Comments: As stated in my XO report above, the Ark Angel is in good shape. Posting throughout May was consistent with only a few AWOLs across the board, which have since been resolved.

USS Asimov

Commanding Officer: Tyra Schroll

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: Andy has started his new sim, and it seems to be an interesting one. He is playing off the CMOs recent attack while coming to the ship. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Why are federation ships attacking other federation ships, who is behind it…very intriguing. Andy is an amazing GM and a bit scary at times, but this is why we love our Wolfe…

As a ship, we have had an up and down month, I know that my posting has been horrible due to real life constraints at work (the life of a caseworker with children blowing out of placements). In the coming weeks, I plan to get people involved again and try to bring the Asimov back to normal.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Andrew Robinson

Crew Posting Level: 3
Senior Staff Posting Level: 3
Overall Ship Health: 3

Sim Overview: The sim has crawled along a few inches in the last month. We’ve suffered some LOA’s, which has strung things along a little more than I’d like, but can’t be avoided. The sim has moved into its initial briefing, and once the senior staff is loosed to their own devices, I have high hopes that things will progress much more smoothly.

Spotlight: There has been some excellent side sim and character development, particularly with James Sinclairs CMO characters who is inextricably hooked into the main sim.

FComm’s Comments: The sim appears to be picking up speed, which will hopefully help address the number of AWOL’s currently on the roster. There is a bit of a concern as a good portion of those absent have been AWOL for some time. Otherwise, ship is in good health and the quality of writing is solid.

SS Bonaventure

Commanding Officer: Melissa Aragon

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Ship seems to be doing well. If there are complaints, they aren’t coming to me lol

Spotlight: Barr (Johnson) has been spectacular in keeping the bridge moving.
T’Leia and Baumann handled the sphere half of the Sim well also.
And a great shout out to the whole ship for moving forward (always) despite a sim that seems slow. <laughs>

Vacancies: Engineer JO (2)
Science JO (1)
Med JO (1)
MACO JO (2)

The above would give us an even 2 JOs across the board. No necessary, but if anyone is interested in an ‘older ship’ to play on, I would be open to the applications.

Executive Officer: James Sinclair

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Ship Status: The ship is currently outside the mysterious sphere with an away team inside trying to lend aid to some inhabitants, a matter made more difficult by the discovery of multiple ‘factions’ within the sphere. Additionally, the satellite / prison originally encountered seems to have made an appearance as well.

Spotlight: Sam Pennington as Lt. Dysart. His portrayal of linguistic difficulties and the interactions with Dal are well written and timely. Solid job.

Vacancies: Armory Chief

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: With having finished speaking with the AI called the ‘Watcher’ the Bonaventure moved into a position just outside the entry to the Dyson Sphere to monitor things there and help where possible. The two shuttle pods have their hands full. One, having intercepted the two raiding vessels intent on stealing a necessary anti-grav unit, is now detecting a much larger vessel heading their way from the large ‘Globe City’ some ways off and home to the alleged raiders. Within Dal’s home Globe they were joined by another ship similar to Dal’s clan ship, these called the Zool, who had arrived to assist Dal against the raiders. Similarly now that the danger has passed Dal’s people are getting medical touch ups related to old injuries that were not healed well. Engineering is attempting to suss out their patchwork quilt of an ion engine in their travel pod while the others are working on possible negotiations between Dal’s people and the Globe City. Their latest suggestion to petition the aliens inside the Dyson Sphere is to meet on neutral ground: the Bonaventure.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: As expressed in my XO report, the ship is doing fairly well. There does seem to be a bit of a lag in sim progress, but nothing worrisome.

AFComm’s Comments: With summer approaching (for half of the world) the Bonnie’s been lagging a tad, but once people start coming back from their LOAs and AWOLs activity should pick back up again.

USS Manhattan

Commanding Officer: James Sinclair

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The ship is currently investigating an unknown probe that seems to possess advanced technological capabilities. The Manhattan is trying to make contact or get clear scans of the object.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO’s - All Departments

Executive Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The ship is booming, we are starting our new main sim while lots of wonderful side sims are cropping up. The crew is booming as we all fly deeper in the Delta Quadrant

Spotlight: Lindsay Bayes for her side sim with Intelligence Matters. It’s a wonderful story I look forward to seeing the finish with.

Vacancies: We are always up for any JOs

Gamemaster: Andrew Robinson

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 9

Sim Overview: Thus far, a mysterious probe has appeared while a Kazon diplomatic party is aboard. The probe has scanned the station and dissapeared, another appearing moments later nearly a light year away to scan the other side. Sensors are proving difficult. Who is it? What do they want? How will it end? Tune in next month. Same delta time, same delta place!!!

Spotlight: Without a doubt some of the finest group of role players I’ve come across, but Steve Sigel and Lindsay Bayes stand out among them with a very convoluted and outstanding side sim that has me on the edge of my wolfely stool!

FComm’s Comments: The Manhattan is moving along smoothly and the crew in engaged across all levels.

AFComm’s Comments: The Manhattan is doing incredibly well! Posting has been up this month, as members delve deeper into main and side sims. I’ve no doubt this will continue as the ship progresses through the Delta Quadrant!

USS Memorial

Commanding Officer: Kirt Gartner

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: The ship is currently in a battle with an Unknown enemy that seems to phase in and out of existence while also dealing with Major gravitational anomalies while Medical is continuing to tend to the survivors of the USS Titan

Spotlight:

Vacancies: 2X Engineer JOs
1X Security JO
1X Medical JO

Executive Officer: Nathan Derricutt

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: The sim is progressing well and the crew is engaged. We have one member on LOA which i will chase up and we have one AWOL again i will chase that up. As for crew morale i feel it is good no one has come to me with any complaints or worries . The crew is also participating in side sim keep almost every one in the green aside form the above mentioned. I have not been as active on the ship as is should be due to personal issues that i am trying to deal with.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: JO’s in all departments and swing positions.

Gamemaster: Liam Schoepp

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: Right now the crew is trying to do a daring escape from what seems to be a fleet of fighters while sickbay is trying to make survivors from what seems to have been a total massacre feel as comfortable as they can during such a wild ride. Will they make it out in once piece? Let’s hope so, as Memorial Class ships are rather expensive.

Spotlight: Hjortur Ingi, Emily S. and all of the rest of our medical crew formaking sure that the guests from the USS Titan are stable from their traumatizing experience.

FComm’s Comments: The crew is engaged and the sim is moving along at a speed commensurate with a slower posting ship. One significant AWOL is a bit troublesome as the individual has been gone the majority of a month. That could be more problematic on a slower posting vessel.

AFComm’s Comments: Posting has remained moderately consistent on the USS Memorial, with a few LOAs and AWOLs here and there (as of current, there are two LOAs and one AWOL). The crew is engaged in various side sims and the main sim, keeping the ship active and in good shape.
