We’ve like never had email ballots. Ever. For any vote (presidential, EGO, awards, dog-catcher, book of the month club).
(I haven’t replied to the rest, because I think other posts have done a more than adequate job at explaining the role of EGO, and why it is generally going to be the most senior members with extensive experience as president and/or cabinet who get voted in for EGO, given that is the actual point of it.)
