The Meridian Fleet Report - August 2019

USS Brian A. Olinski

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: R Smith

Crew Posting Level: 3
Senior Staff Posting Level: 4
Overall Ship Health: 3

Ship Status: Crew posting level is currently low, but since we are in between “episodes” that is only to be expected.

Spotlight: Spotlight on Sam Pennington who plays chief engineer Michael Gould for showing initiative during the falling action. Spotlight on Captain Sidney Parker for bringing back the Black and White Ball.

Vacancies: We currently need a Chief Medical Officer, or indeed, any medical officer.

Gamemaster: No report submitted

AFComm’s Comments: Anyone looking to play a doctor should contact the ship’s command :)

USS Chernov

Commanding Officer: Travis Good

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: We are doing very and hardly any AWOL. We have started a new SIM and we are trapped in a rat maze of some kind. I can only help with talking as they took away my cybernetic limbs and I can’t walk.

We have some very people on the ship so we will be out in a couple of months, real time. We still don’t know who has us.

Spotlight: I like pointing out one or two people but this time I would have to give it to everybody. We are posting much more and everyone has great character building going on.

Vacancies: Need Jo’s in all departments.

Executive Officer: Emily S.

Crew Posting Level: 9
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 9

Ship Status: This has been a great month for the Chernov. The sim is in full swing and Rob is keeping us on our toes! Our new crew members Sam Pennington & James Gray have jumped right in and have given us a couple of great characters to interact with. I’m excited to see where the sim takes us in the next month and I look forward to seeing what else Rob can throw at us. Posting has dropped off a little in the past week but with lots of people starting back after the summer break, this is understandable. We currently have 1 AWOL and 2 crew members on LOA.

Spotlight: I’d like to spotlight Sam Pennington & James Gray for jumping right in to the action. They have created a couple of really interesting characters and have fully engaged with the sim from the moment they came on board. Keep up the good work guys!

Vacancies:

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The Chernov have received orders to patrol along the Klingon border, but while heading there have gotten hit by a powerful tachyon beam and awoken inside a large blue and cold room with nothing but their uniforms on them. They are currently puzzling their way out of the room and deciding what to do next.

Spotlight:

AFComm’s Comments: A rat maze, this is amazing!

USS Odin

Commanding Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: We are back from the ship as Kenson brings into the foray of the Romulans as we learn more on their intentions.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

FComm’s Comments: The Odin was a bit on the slower side for the month, LOA and summer down time took them below the normal speed they have for a slower ship. Working to get more crew to help bolster her ranks.

USS Saracen

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Krystelle McLean

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: It has been an amazing slow month due to the fact of the majority of the crew has been LOA for the last couple weeks, including myself, the CO and XO:P LOL despite that I give kudos to the crew that remained on ship and kept posting! We haven’t lost any ground in the sim while most of us were away and have picked it up easily enough now that I am back. The crew has taken on board the mysterious probe and have managed to neutralize the radiation, now they just need to study it and find their breadcrumb for the next task!

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: Saracen has been very active, despite some LOA they have had tons of posts. Some slow down in the main sim is noticed but LOA and summer activities feel to be at play more than plaything.
