Some people’s impact to the club as a whole goes unnoticed by many. They are supportive, cordial, jovial, and bring an air of friendliness and welcome that simply cannot go unrecognized.
Helping develop their fellow writers, inspiring them with new ideas and suggestions, and making new players feel welcome is a service that many do not have the skill to do, and do well. Coupled with a drive to make the club successful for all and their years of participation, it is with great joy that I hereby promote David Shotton to the rank of Commodore. David, thank you for giving the club so much of your efforts. We would not be the same club without you.
