As many of you know, Kate and I have been organizing a celebration of life for Steven. Due to many people outside of STF who might want to attend, we have set-up a separate Discord server for the event and will give out the link on FRIDAY. We’re currently planning in a channel in there and will clear that out before we invite everyone in.

Date: Saturday October 2nd, 2021
Time: 12 Noon Eastern Time
Where: Discord Voice Chat (link to be provided later)
We expect it to last about an hour and invite anyone who wishes to say something to let us know by Friday evening.
Because there is the chance that some members of his family might want to be there, it will be a more formal event. In order to allow STFers to have a more casual gathering, there will also be another gathering later that evening in STF’s Discord voice chat at 8 pm Eastern.
We understand that not everyone can make it at either of those times, so we have started a thread in Ten Forward where club members are invited to share their memories: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/command/ooc/posts/152851/. As noted in the post, we might use some of these during the Noon event if we find we have gaps we need to fill (and to make it easier for us to host). We thank you in advance for anything you might wish to share.
