USS Constellation

Commanding Officer: Excused

Executive Officer: Excused

Gamemaster: Excused

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I little to report. I know they are in need of a new CO. Will be working to address that soon.

USS Europa

Commanding Officer: Excused

Executive Officer: Janice B.

How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?As expected, the holidays have been a busy and time consuming event for all members on the ship. However, I’m very proud of our Department Heads for remaining as active as possible with the ongoing sim. I’m even more grateful for those that communicate about issues that affect their posting speed and keep us updated. Their dedication is admirable and I couldn’t ask more of our senior officers. With the busiest part of the month over, we hope to see normal activity resume within the next week or so. I hope everyone was safe and had fun over the holidays.

How are the JOs doing? Are the all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?Like mentioned in the section about the Department Heads, the holidays have a way of consuming time and energy. This goes for our junior officers too. There’s not much I can mention that wasn’t mentioned in the section about the Department Head save that like them, I’m so proud of seeing our Junior Officers’ communication and their efforts to remain active during the busy times. I hope everyone was safe and had fun over the holidays.

Who is the shining star this month? It is difficult to pick a shining star this month because of the holidays, but I decided on Linds. While she plays wonderful characters like Cassidy and Vora, my decision for selecting her was based mainly on my OOC experience with her. Linds is a bright, compassionate and flexible writer that often makes writing with her fun. She never hesitates to adapt her plans or communicate issues in a polite fashion. You need someone to join your side sim? As long as it fits her characters, she’ll happily offer one of them to join in on the fun. Having the experience of exploring a few different forums, this trait is surprisingly rare and I’m glad to have a writing partner that has it.

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I have nothing to report. Ship looks healthy enough given the holidays. Thank you to Janice for getting her report in.

USS Genesis

Commanding Officer: Luke Hung

How is your ship looking overall? We got slammed by the holiday posting limits. The ship has looked a little haggard, both by mission and limited side posting. I hope the holiday break end will pick it up, but I will have to find some fill in with the roster and I’ve started a side sim to get some flow back.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)?

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.I’ll need to find some crew. We are missing some Chiefs.

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I have nothing to report. I will keep an eye on the crew vacancies situation.

USS Merrimack

Commanding Officer: David Fergusson

How is your ship looking overall? Big improvement on last month. I now have a new XO and the posting rate has gone wild for several crew. There are still some AWOLs which I intend to deal with now the holiday period is over. The last Sim ended with the Alstaireans declining member ship of the UFP. However, we did pick up a child in stasis together with some silver alien sphere which will form the basis of the next Sim. Analysis of those has already begun.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? I enjoyed my own conversation between Captain Glen and CMO Miriam Cross which sorted out several problems I had with her return to the ship and what secrets should be disclosed to the new XO: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf6/merrimack/posts/162044/
I also enjoyed the conversation between the new XO Joe Milligan and CMO Miriam Cross: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf6/merrimack/posts/162027/

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.I’d like longer and more in depth posts from all players that explore there character’s motives and emotions, hopefully taking their cue from those that I mentioned.

Executive Officer: Excused

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: The new sim has just begun! Following up from the last sim, the Merrimack after a brief R&R has been assigned to track down the origins of the mysterious alien child. Currently medical and science and engineering are studying what they can about the child, their sleeper pod and their mysterious steel-organic balls that were also inside the sleeping pod box

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward?

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I have nothing to report. Ship looks healthy enough given the holidays.

Oed V

Commanding Officer: Excused

Executive Officer: Excused

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I have nothing to report. Ship looks healthy enough given the holidays. Kind of bummed no one filed a report, but given the holidays and the fact I am new, I am willing to let this slide this month.

USS Olympic

Commanding Officer: No report submitted

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: No report submitted

USS Wolverine

Commanding Officer: Excused

Executive Officer: Excused

Gamemaster: J Ridgley

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: The USS Wolverine has been helping the SS Malaga a Civilian Oberth medical and evacuation vessel. So far the crew has done valiantly in their efforts to round up and extract the remaining few colonists and relocate them. The crew have divided and conquered, an away team who was seen most of the dramatic action is those under the XO and now soon to be departing the school evacuation site after facing down an ancient creature and some scared Colonist. Those already at the school have seemingly saved a smaller version of the creatures encountered by the XOs team.

Elsewhere the Captain and his team at the Public house now face the most immediate danger as lava begins to surround the building and the last set of seismic activity destroying their chance of escape. Luckily however after pulling itself free at the loss of a landing strut the Wolverine is en route under the current command of the ever-vigilant chief engineer.

Ensign Celador Theinna a Security Officer has had the most intense one to one connection with the ancient culture finding that they had lived underground for millennia before the colonists adversely destroyed their home and caused their pending doom!

Finally, in the last location, teamwork frantically hard to secure and escort the remaining science gear ad personally before the big event.

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward? The USS Wolverine has been dispatched to assist in the evacuation of Ithea a joint Federation Kazroite colony within the Kazor trinary star system on the fringe of Black Fleets operating space. Assisting the SS Malaga an Oberth civilian medical ship the Wolverine must be prepared to act as a peacekeeping force during the swift and ongoing evacuation, scientists to analyse the Super Volcano, Engineering to help in the dismantlement of any pertinent federation technologies and command to co-ordinate it all. Not all however is what it seems as ancient murmurs begin to stir.

FComm’s Comments: Given that I am new to being Fcomm for this fleet, I have nothing to report. Ship looks healthy enough given the holidays.
