Good morning everyone in STF, I hope you are all safe, happy, having fun here in the club, and outside in your lives. Our current Foremost Fleet FComm Jen hsa informed me that due to various events in their lives and such happening they will be needing to cut back their roles in STF. In this case being Foremost Fleet FComm. They will be remaining long enough to post the upcoming fleet reports, but once done they will be effectively for all other intents stepping away.
So in an effort to get ahead of any delays in supporting the Foremost Fleet, James and I are accepting applications for the position from 5/2/2022 until 5/13/2022 or until we feel we have found an ideal candidate.
Applicants should be aware of the following requirements, 1) They must be a current or previous CO in the club or a current or past XO with CO experience it is no longer required that you be a CO/XO in the fleet, just in the club in general, (xfleet roles do not count!). 2) While not mandatory obviously, James and I want all applicants to be aware that being an FComm can entail a bit more work then some might expect, this ranges from keeping an eye on the overall going ons with your ships in the fleet with support of your AFComm. This means keeping an eye on the ebb and flows of AWOLS/LOAs and also extending a hand to help ships fill empty roles that open up that are critical like core DH spots and such. A full list of expectations can be gotten from James and I, if anyone interested wants more details. Applicants new to the role can apply and are encouraged as long as you meet the primary requirement as outlined above. Currently you will have an AFComm, with Sam Haynes unless that changes between now and when a new FComm is given so new players to this role will have a supportive member to help them learn and grow, in addition to the same from James and I.

1) If you are a current or former CO or are a current/former XO with CO experience in the club, where were they? If the ship has since been decommissioned please still list
2) What experience do you feel you provide if any to being FComm? From reading the FCOMM document and the brief details above do you have a general concept and acceptance of the time you will need to commit to this role and are you comfortable to balance this with playing in the club and your own life outside the club?
3) What challenges in your view do you think Foremost Fleet is facing if you were to look over the fleet at present? Please feel free to cite some examples if you like, we are interested to see what you feel could be issues whether they are correct or not in actuality
4) What if any plans beyond those expectations of being FComm to manage the fleet do you plan to do to engage your fleet and its members?
5) What if any other roles in STF have you held? Whether it’s in the government, ships, etc that you feel are good to highlight to apply as FComm?
6) Lastly, what is any familiarity do you have on Foremost Fleet’s history?
