USS Brian A. Olinski

Commanding Officer: Sidney Parker

How is your ship looking overall? Well if you had asked me this two to three weeks ago I would say almost dead. However I pulled on my boots and went recruiting and emailed only those who had 3 or less ships. The result was adding a new CAG and Pilot. CIO, CSO and CMO. Which has resulted in a very active ship. Sim feels alive again as well.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? The ones by the new crew members. Just incredible writing with detail and great content. This includes the CIO,CAG, Squad Ldr, CMO and CSO

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.Just add a CE Because honestly I could not ask for more.

Executive Officer: Luke Hung

How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?The main sim has the Xindi using clones and ships to try to provoke a war with the tholian, breen and federation. The command crew is in the conference room discussing the best way to handle this. The pilots are on alert and ready to launch.

There are several new crew that are settling in. Welcome the J Crew (James, Joana, and Jerome ) which had filled out a number of our DH needs

How are the JOs doing? Are the all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?WIth the roster rounded out and filled we can look to get some JO’s.

Commanding Officer: Travis Good

How is your ship looking overall? The ship is looking very good. We are making progress on the Main SIM.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? None. They all have side SIM’S going on as well and I love their character building.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.Need more officers. Science JO’s.

USS Sentinel

Commanding Officer: Matt Bongiorno

How is your ship looking overall? The ship is doing decent overall. I have sent out gentle reminder e-mails to two members who have been AWOL for a substantial period of time. I am looking for a candidate to fill the Chief Engineer role on the ship. I have had a little bit of trouble there, but am sure that someone will take the role in September. The main sim is moving forward now, I had a busy month being out of town twice which slowed it down slightly.

What was your favorite moment/post on the ship this month (include a link if possible!)? My favorite post is beginning the Promotion Ceremony thread to where members of the crew will be recognized for their efforts over the past year for some. I look forward to seeing the responses to it over the month of September.

Name one thing you want to improve on the ship for next month.I want to get a Chief Engineer as soon as possible!

How are the DHs doing? Are they all active and participating, both in the main sim and in any side sims?They are doing well. We need a new CE. But the other departments heads have been briefed and are prepping for our new mission. Really wonderful personalities showing through when asking questions for the GM.

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Summarize the sim plot so far as if you were providing it to a new member joining the ship: The Sentinel’s DH meeting is just kicking off, and getting wrapped up in quick order. The sentinel is being tasked to check up on a trio of colonies for psychological health and perhaps be dealing with some Orion pirates

Who was the biggest contributor this month to driving the sim forward?

No idea why missing reports. Not getting responses.

There are a couple DH positions that need filling. I’ll work with CO, and Personnel Dept, to see if we can fill those.

Overall, ships have pulled up and gotten things done after a rocky couple months. Kudos to them all.
