Good morning everyone, the engineering department is accepting applications for the assistant engineering director role for the coming term. Anyone is welcome to apply and no experience is necessary beyond a willingness to learn and help out where you can at times as I would delegate.Applicants should email me at robert25archer25 @ gmail.com (without spaces!), and answer the following please:
1) What if any positions do you currently hold in STF?
2) Why would you like to be my assistant this term?
3) How would you grade your skills on a scale of 1-10 on reviewing documents for basic grammar, punction, spelling etc for readability?
4) How would you grade your knowledge on a scale of 1-10 on treknobabble/technobabble (aka all the random engineering miracle blabbing we hear in trek)?
5) Anything else you think I would like to know about you for applying for the assistant role?Applications will be open until Wed the 19th of April next week

A bit later then I wanted to announce this but due to power outages and lack of net I had no choice.
I am happy to announce out of the three applicants I got (woot! Loved that turn out thank you all who applied!) Clayton Strong will be my assistant engineering director this term. However, given my plans this term as well for the department I will likely be looking to have the other two helping out if they agree and time allows. I will announce these ‘engineering aides’ as I’m calling it once they confirm if they can help out.
