I think this is the best possible use of the President’s power: acknowledging and recognizing officially the hard work and dedication that individuals give to this club and those of us fortunate enough to be a part of it.
In that vein, I would like to thank Krys McLean for all she has done and does continually to make us what we are. For her dedication to her crew on the Saracen as GM and the rest of her ships in character, to her tireless work behind the scenes in all of the various positions she has held or assisted with, her unwavering support for the members on a personal level, and her absolute devotion to making the club as successful as she can; it is my sincerest pleasure to promote Krys McLean to Vice Admiral effective immediately.
Krys, thank you for all you do. I know from personal experience how supportive and encouraging you are, and we are the better for your being a part of the club.

Oh this was such a surprise and I am very touched. Thank you, James! This club has meant so much to me that it has kept me in it for so long. 22 years is a long time to be a part of something. I always wish I could do more and feel so bad when I have to cut back on things. :)
