The Foremost Fleet Report - June 2020

USS Ark Angel

Commanding Officer: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The ship is doing great this past month, we’ve got a fairly engaged crew across the board and barring an loa or brief awol are in good shape. Sim wise the planet side crew of the CNS and CMO is getting ready to meet with Administrator Redal, while the XO is getting ready to meet with the chief station engineer Shaden. The Engineering and science teams are splitting up to go to the engine room and the other up to deck 15 to check out the strange artifact mentioned.

Spotlight: I want to spotlight Sharon Miller for her excellent roleplay this pasat month as your primitive android Eve

Vacancies: 2x Security JOs
1x Medical JO
1x Science JO

Executive Officer: Ben Simons

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: Our main sim has got us mostly planet-side now, with the crew answering a distress signal. Also plenty of side-sims going on as well, but not detracting from the main storyline. Overall it’s been a good month.

Spotlight: Our Science officer Kala has really been engaging in everything going on this month.

Vacancies: 1x Science JO
1x Medical JO
2x Security JOs

Gamemaster: Robert Archer

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Sim Overview: The ship is doing great this past month, we’ve got a fairly engaged crew across the board and barring an loa or brief awol are in good shape. Sim wise the planet side crew of the CNS and CMO is getting ready to meet with Administrator Redal, while the XO is getting ready to meet with the chief station engineer Shaden. Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: Engagement has come up this month for the AA and I am enjoying the sim and side sims as the month progressed. Few LOAs and AWOLs but it’s within expected tolerance.

The MOTD is up to date and the ship has a full compliment of DHs at this time.

Target going forwards is to continue recruitment to fill the remaining JO spots.

Great work this month Ark Angels :) thank you all.

USS Asimov

Commanding Officer: Tyra Schroll

Crew Posting Level: 4
Senior Staff Posting Level: 4
Overall Ship Health: 4

Ship Status: we have split into two away teams to investigate the planet that we have crashed onto in hopes of finding things that will help us get back to where we need to be. There is a group that have remained at the ship that are working on getting things repaired. It might take a bit.

Spotlight:

Vacancies:

Executive Officer: Calé Reilly

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 3
Overall Ship Health: 5

Ship Status: The ship is ticking over this month with the sim moving but slowly. The general engagement is still level for a slow ship but there is room for improvement. I feel that the ship needs a more focused XO and as such have tendered my resignation to Tyra. I will stay until a replacement is found but this will be my last report as XO.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: XO,CoS And JOs all depts.

Gamemaster: Jason Lee

Crew Posting Level: 3
Senior Staff Posting Level: 3
Overall Ship Health: 3

Sim Overview: The ship has crashed landed on an unknown planet

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: As stated in my XO report the ship is ticking over on the slow side of the slow posting rate. Engagement is so so and needs to be a major focus moving forwards. There is some good working going on and work behind the scenes to help support and rejuvenate the ship as next month goes on. I will be reviewing the ship at that time.

Targets moving forward: to work on filling the vacant posts and encourage engagement and involvement in the main sim.

SS Bonaventure

Commanding Officer: Melissa Aragon

Crew Posting Level: 9
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: We’re definitely getting better. The crew is coming back to life and while I’m a bit disappointed in no one taking advantage of the R&R time to character build, I’m glad they are posting.

Spotlight: Baumann’s writer, James, has been a great asset and came on board running with character building and involving others.
Also to Gene’s new JO character. He jumped right in and joined the crew like he’d always been there.

Vacancies: 2 Medical JO
1 Security JO
1 Engineering JO
1 Science JO
2 Marine JO

Executive Officer: Travis Good

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: Doing well. The main SIM is starting. There are many side SIM’s and great character development going on.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: Need JO’s in all departments.

Gamemaster: Kevin Sawyer

Crew Posting Level: 9
Senior Staff Posting Level: 9
Overall Ship Health: 9

Sim Overview: The SS Bonaventure has received general exploration orders for the sector! Captain Bovar has free reign to take the Bonaventure in any exploratory direction she’d like, though Star-Fleet has flagged a few points of interest including a strange nebula and a few planets. With the anomalous nebula being the closest point of interest, the ship has set a course and been at warp towards its location. Star-Fleet is interested in knowing what’s causing spikes in energy output, particularly heat, given that the chemical reactions don’t seem to account for it.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: Hats off for Melissa and the crew of the Bonnie this month. Engagement has come up this month and the activity level has gone from strength to strength. Kevin’s sim is starting and looks like it’s going to be exciting.

The MOTD is up to date and the ship has a full compliment of DHs at this time. Target going forwards is to continue recruitment to fill the remaining JO spots. Great work this month from everyone on the Bonnie. Well done guys :)

USS Manhattan

Commanding Officer: James Sinclair

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Ship Status: The ship is still in Orbit over the planet Graven, and we are dealing with several injured crew and one injured Gravien. There have been some issues in our interactions with the local populace, especially when it comes to assisting the wounded member of their race. We hope to have some more pieces of the puzzle once all of our crew returns for the night and we can debrief as a whole.

Spotlight: Ben Z as Ensign Shin Baht won Best Medical JO, and it was well deserved. Additionally, Miriam W as Kaia has been dependable and ingenious in her ability to portray her Galdori Engineering JO.

Vacancies: Chief Science Officer

JO’s - All Departments welcome

Executive Officer: Steven Sigle

Crew Posting Level: 7
Senior Staff Posting Level: 7
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: When diplomacy fails, always carry a big stick. That is what the Manhattan is up to as we delve into the delta quadrant. Getting some new members onboard has been a great boon, looking forward to seeing what is up next month for us.

Spotlight:

Vacancies: CSO
JO (Speciality Science could be cool)

Gamemaster: Gene Gibbs

Crew Posting Level: 8
Senior Staff Posting Level: 8
Overall Ship Health: 8

Sim Overview: When last we reported there had been a motor vehicle accident injuring two crew and one Gravenian native as the vehicle swerved to miss a young Gravenian girl on the road. They have been beamed up to the Manhattan with some difficulty. The transport process had issues when brining Aeric Tov, the Gravenian principle engineer aboard. Engineering/Ops is looking into that ‘issue’. Additionally in two further transports some of the command and medical crew have been brought back aboard along with the Gravenian Second Minister and noted physician, Hone.

Science is investigating the mysterious area with crop failures. The CSO has dug up a piece of metal that is an advanced composite and is checking that out. Security is plotting with the RegCom law representative Hanson Koryne about what to do with the ‘Blanks’ - one of whom Koryne speculates is going to be killed that evening at the time of one of the three full moons. These ‘Blanks’ as Koryne and Hone have said have only their ‘bodies’ but their Spirit half is ‘missing’. Currently they are about to be rounded up for safety purposes after being ‘exposed’ to alien pathogens by an ‘unfortunate’ encounter with the Manhattan security chief. Others are beginning to look into investigating the accident and what happened there.

Spotlight:

FComm’s Comments: Another great month for the Manhattan. The sim is continuing in an exciting way and side simming continues to be a highlight. The MOTD is up to date and the ship has a full compliment of DHs at this time. Cookies for the Manhattan crew for being the first to submit their fleet reports on time this month.

Target going forwards is to continue recruitment to fill the remaining JO spots. Well done this month folks :) thank you all.

USS Memorial

Commanding Officer: Kirt Gartner

Crew Posting Level: 5
Senior Staff Posting Level: 5
Overall Ship Health: 7

Ship Status: The ship is heading to help the SS Anne while the Flying Angel Shuttle is now heading for the USS Resolution The Crew on the Bridge is debating weather or not to stop and take care of a black hole in the region

Spotlight:

Vacancies: (Core) Medical JO X2 Science JO X2, Security JO X1
(Swing) Counseling JO

Executive Officer: No report submitted

Gamemaster: Kevin Sawyer

Crew Posting Level: 6
Senior Staff Posting Level: 6
Overall Ship Health: 6

Sim Overview: The Flying Angel has departed the Memorial and is en route to the USS Resolution, a Star-Fleet science ship, to help with its pre-warp civilization research, while the rest of the crew on the Memorial are now flying close to a black hole to make its way to the SS Anne, a Federation cargo ship in a very different direction.

Spotlight: Mike M as Lt. Cmdr. Wendell Vaughn

FComm’s Comments: The Memorial has gone a good job this month with some good engagement but slightly slower than last month. A few LOAs and AWOLs have stalled things a bit but these are being remedied.

The MOTD is up to date and the ship has most of its DHs minus the Chief of security at this time.

Target going forwards is to fill this role within the specified time window and continue recruitment to fill the remaining JO spots. Good effort this month from everyone :) thank you all.

Overall comments: June has seen some of our ships go from strength to strength across the fleet. There are some amazing stories and things happening and excellent writers. We have also had a few recent graduates and new members join the fleet this month which is amazing and I bid them all welcome to the fleet and thank them all for their contributions to things so far.

As I reported last month Joe and I have tried to work with command teams to improve areas of the fleet that needed the most attention, I am greatful for the amazing command teams we have who are always willing to chat and communicate making this easier.

At the moment we have some DH posts and JO posts open across the fleet and as I said last month we have a lot of fantastic ships and exciting opportunities so if you are looking for a new ship now is the perfect time to join in (Shameless plug alert). So if you’re looking for a new environment or a new character please give our ships a look, and contact our command teams, I promise you won’t regret it!

The Foremost Fleet report, brought to you in the month of June by the Number 24 and the colour red. Also by the Continuing Adventures of the Mysterious Aquatic D!

“We now return to the adventure, having defeated the cupcake men and battled his way to the main command center of Professor Dokter. The jello laser is set trained on earth with the firing program well underway at 89% just as the mysterious Aquatic D rushes in the villain reveals his trump card. Our hero’s defenseless sweetheart dangling unconscious over a pit of venomous moon snakes!!! To make matters worse the evil Professor manages to set off the base’s self destruct as he flees. Now our hero has three choices, save the earth from the jello laser by disabling it, save his sweetheart from a serpenty death and escape the Lair before the very sexy voiced self destruct computer reaches 0? Three choices only time for two.., what will our hero do!! Stay turned to find out!”

No moon snakes were either a)injured or b)actually genetically engineered in the making of this report. Also in accordance with the union of super villains I am required to point out hat just because all villains are Bad Guys, they are not actually all ”Bad guys” and that a weekly support group Bad-Anon is available for any villains.
