Edict #21

Lucky edict number 21!

For my final edict, I would like to take a moment to thank some people whose hard work has helped the club over the last 8 months.

First, as a Cabinet Level Commendation, Luke Hung. Luke as a long time member, and GM, has continued to help support our new members as they make their way through our club. His contributions have helped to make STF an amazing experience for these new members.

Terry Sullivan, as a Cabinet Level Commendation. Terry has made several contributions behind the scenes, that are often overlooked. This is in addition to his role playing, and he deserves some much needed recognition for his efforts.

Gene Gibbs, with a Cabinet Level Commendation. His tireless work as a GM of the Chimera and XO on the Atlantis, has helped to create a fun atmosphere for numerous players.

The members of TECH, Joe P, Matt Bernardin, Amber DeSadier and Owen Morgan as a Presidential Level Commendation. Their tireless work behind the scenes, literally helping to keep our club running, can never go without enough thanks.

Dan Lerner, with a Presidential Level Commendation. Dan has been a rock solid member of our group. His long standing tenure as Personnel Director, and his deep knowledge of our rules and bylaws, make him an indispensable member.

Kate O’Neill, Steven Sigle, Joana Ribero, Dave Shotton, James Sinclair, Terry Sullivan and Adam W, the members of our fleet report task force with a Presidential Level Commendation. I know we haven’t seen the final result yet, but their work behind the scenes has laid the groundwork for what I hope will be a great rework of our reporting system.

Lindsay Bayes with a Presidential Level Commendation for her work as CMM. Linds helped set the expectations for this role back in the day, and as she stepped back into this role, she continue to meet these expectations. From her work with the newsletter, the some of the most recent print materials she made, she has really helped expand the knowledge of our club outside of our group.

Cale Reilly and Silke Fahl with a Presidential Level Commendation. As someone who has run several elections myself, I know there is countless work that goes on behind the scenes to make an election run smoothly. There work on this terms election cannot go unrecognized.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone in the club this term. I know this was an unprecedented term. Starting with an uncontested election, to a global pandemic looming over us the second half of this term. So thank you to everyone for sticking with us, and helping to continue the story that is STF. It is without all of you, our members, that this great organization still wouldn’t continue to exist. So thank you.

So that’s it folks! Another term has come and gone, and I wish Sarah and Rob good luck in their term.

Good night, and good luck!
