Just wanted to bump this post for anyone new and reading this board again

So Louis and I would like to begin describing our election platform in this post. The first thing we would like to bring up is Club Member Engagement.

Club Member Engagement is to put simply to us a plan to engage members where possible in a relaxed social setting. Whether that is on Discord as a live event, post discussions in ten forward, or simply accepting emails to discuss issues, comments, questions, or concerns.

This plan is broken down into three major areas as mentioned above:

The first is hosting live events for members to participate in on an as available basis. Examples of this would be hosting a live roleplay session, hosting of a tabletop Star Trek game, bringing back club member interview sessions and transcripts, to simply a Q&A session of an open door time where people can engage Louis and I in other channels then simply email.
The second section would be club discussions or debates in ten forward. Examples of this in the past have been generally to me successful and while not always a large number in turn out has to me brought much fun to the club as a whole. Examples specifically would be transcripts of club interviews from discord, open handed discussions on how to improve ones posting style, to writing entry contests and the STF Awards.
The third area of engagement would be through promoting the use of the STF presidential inbox and suggestion email forward. This form while older, would ensure issues that happen can be kept private and discussed in more simpler forms to ensure a calm and pleasant resolution or outcome.

Overall these three main areas would also see an attempt by Louis and I and our cabinet to regularly put up news briefs of events, discussions and the like when such is occuring. News blurbs on the front page could also see use to attract members who may have talents or skills that STF could make use of when such people have free time. Examples of this could run from someone hosting a tabletop star trek game or live roleplay, to pointing interested parties to say a cabinet department to engage themselves there, such as with helping TECH, or in the GM Department/Engineering Departments or PDept.

The overall goal of this is to ensure every club member has a voice to be heard and feels welcome and entices members to become involved in the STF club processes.
