Welcome to the March 2021 Election Season, beginning in approximately six and a half hours, with the opening of nominations at 12:00 am EST on Monday, March 1, 2021. I will not be awake at that time, so please be cognizant of the time and submit any nominations at the appropriate time.Who Is Eligible to Nominate or Second Someone
In order to nominate or second a nomination, you must have been a member of the club for the 30 days prior to the start of the Election Season, which means that. you must have an active STF account and have served in a government position, an active roleplaying position, or a Gamemaster position since January 30, 2021.
How to Nominate
Create a new post with:
Topic: Nomination
Content: The name of the member that you are nominating for President. Do not include anything that could be termed as an endorsement in your post (e.g. “I think this person is awesome and so I nominate him/her for President” is not okay, “I nominate him/her for President” is okay).How to Second
Respond to a nomination post stating that you are seconding the nomination. Again, do not include anything that could be termed as an endorsement in your post.
How to Accept a Nomination
Respond to the post seconding the nomination stating that you accept the nomination and naming your running mate who will be running as your Vice President. You may not begin campaigning until your ticket has been validated by the Election Coordinator.
How to Decline a Nomination
Respond to the post seconding the nomination stating that you decline the nomination.
Nominations close in approximately 25 and a half hours. All nominations must be submitted, seconded, and accepted by 2359 EST on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
