Well, folks, this election season is herby drawn to a close. It has been a crazy month, but the election results are in.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the candidates for acting in a civilized manner through the course of this election. I would also like to thank everyone who got involved either by nominating, seconding, endorsing, or asking questions both on the election ship and with Silke and myself in private, and of course by voting.
Now, without any further adieu, here is the voting turnout:
Of a possible 89 eligible votes, 54 were cast giving a voter turnout of 61%
The votes themselves stand at the close of polls as:
Sarah Hemenway/Robert Archer: 33= 61%
Jerome Davis/James Sinclair: 21= 39%
Therefore, As Election Coordinator, it is my duty to announce that the winner of the Star-Fleet Presidential elections is Sarah Hemenway with running mate Robert Archer.
The new presidential term will begin on August 1st.
The change over ceremony will take place (in a change from the posted schedule since there is no round two voting) on Friday, July 31st in discord at 2 pm EST.
