Are you doing NaNoWriMo this year? If so, along with your local events, join in and cheer on your fellow STFers as they tackle whatever their writing goal.

If you feel like it, let everyone know what you’re planning to do this year. Here’s a sample set of things you can share.

I can’t wait to hear what people are planning.

=======
NaNo Goal: [Traditionally this is 50,000 words, but you can pick any sort of goal]
Old School/Rebel?: [Starting a brand new project? Continuing one/Doing poetry/short stories ect?]
Plotter/Pantser/Plantser: [Are you an outliner, discovery writer, mix of both?]
Genre:
Project Subject: [What’s it about? Give us a teaser! Great time to practice those quick pitches]
======

I’ll go first:

Goal: at least 50,000 words
Old School: This is a brand new novel.
Plantser: I’ve outlined quite a bit and have 32 scenes I know I need to write, but the rest I’ll figure out as I go.
Genre: Historical
Subject: Set mainly in 1908 Alberta, a family is divided when some of them, members of a religious sect, stand trial for attempted murder.
