Silke and I have been toying with ideas about the sort of events we might be able to do in the nearish future. One that came up was a writing workshop, with components both in Discord and in Ten Forward.

Is there any interest in this? If so, what sort of topics or themes might you be interested in seeing/participating in?

It depends on the interest most likely. I’m open to all sorts of speculative fiction learning. One of my flaws is my ability to describe things well.

I am open to teaching anything though. I’ve been studying the last few years about story structure, plotting, character arcs, understanding themes. If there is something someone is interested in, I’m sure I can participate if we schedule it ahead of time.

I am very much not an experienced writer so I’m keen to improve all round. Count me as interested! :)

Awesome! We’re just gathering ideas and interest and we’re looking at doing something towards the end of this quarter (ie. before end of September).

Everyone, please keep giving feedback and we’ll add it to the considerations.
