Good Afternoon All,

I hope your all well,

Following a brief discussion with Lind’s I ‘d like to invite you all in joining me on a discussion that been the Do’s and Don’ts of writing your application. Throughout, my years in the club I have submitted a number of applications for both Command and Cabinet/EA roles. I’d like us all to come together to discuss our opinions on what should be included in our applications and what shouldn’t we all have our own way of applying for roles but for those that are first time applicants. Were should they start?

The second point I have is what is the difference, when writing theses applications between applying for Command Roles (CO/XO) vs Cabinet and EA roles.

Thanks

Louis

Follow instructions. If someone has asked you to provide X, Y and Z, then provide X, Y, and Z to the best of your ability. Yes, these various admin type roles in the club are exceptional low stakes in a RL sense (this isn’t about your livelihood), but some roles require precision attention to detail. The ability to follow a set of instructions (and clarify if something isn’t clear to you) is very important.

~Linds
