Just one question.
The DH for the department under consideration must be active. For Academy placements, a DH who is on an LOA of any length is not considered active for this condition. for non-Academy placements, a DH who is on an iLOA (an LOA with no stated end-date) or an eLOA (an LOA with at least 30 days remaining) is not considered active for this condition.
What if the DH is on LOA, but is overdue from the return date?

Well, _I_think so, generally, but a lot of people get testy about that if they aren’t back but it’s still within the normal limit for that position (e.g. that your status counter resets magically to zero on your end date even when you haven’t actually come back yet).
Or an iLOA, given that there is now no return date?

No, there’s still a return date, it’s just in the past instead of the future.

I know not everyone will agree that it is an iLOA or AWOL or whatever, but until the club addresses that in the MOO bylaw, I feel the PDept can make a policy that best meets the intended goals here.
