OCC: Just posting here to separate the two ships.
IC: “You know I wouldn’t mind seeing what those engines are capable of and how they put it together! Though judging from what happened to their first vessel … I’d have to guess they haven’t learned about dilithium yet and how it reacts to be able to control the anti-matter reactions..” A look of concern swept over his face. He could understand the pursuit of technology, but adequate testing would be necessary before performing a field test like this. He hoped that he could figure out what was going on to try and stabilize the reactions instead of abandoning their warp core for an explosion that they would need to get clear of.

“Hopefully this trip doesn’t end up becoming really short and bright.” Tiglath said as they stepped onto the transporter padd.
“We are ready chief.” He said to the chief. He rested his hand on his phaser, but kept it holstered. He felt slightly apprehensive about this mission, he didn’t like going into situations not really knowing about what he was facing.
