Simon was sitting in his office, thinking of the events that had transpired a few days ago. Now that the engineering officer had some time to settle into the ship, he tapped his commbadge to see if he could find out who was responsible for treating a fellow officer the way Ranlei was treated.=/\=Lieutenant Starr to Ensign Ranlei, please report to the security office at your earliest convienence=/\=
Simon sat back and awaited the arrival of the new Ensign.

Ranlei was greasing down some of the more primative machinery when the call came. She hit her com badge leaving a glob of grease clinging to it the dribbled down her uniform, =^= Aye, Sir. Be there soon as possible. =^=, she finished of the task in a moment putting it back on the duty roster as partially complete and hit the sonic shower uniform and all to make herself presentable. She was soon outside the security office and walked in. Presenting herself to the on duty officer she asked to see Lt. Starr.
And was directed to CoS office with it’s name plate. Starr was the officer from the shuttle bay who had followed her to sickbay. She took a deep breath looked at her bracelet which read green and exhaling touched the door chime.Ensign Ranlei. Engineer.
After a few moments when the chime was pressed, the door opened up to a rather simple office. A picture frame on the desk which faced Starr, but not much else of personal value. “Are you just going to stand there, Ensign, or do you want to take a seat?” he asked with a soft southern british accent. “Wanna drink?” he asked as he walked over to the replicator and took a pineapple juice for himself, and waited to see if Ranlei asked, while studying the differences in her condition since they met in the Shuttlebay.
