“Welcome to the Ark Angel, Lucana.” Jasmijn nodded to her associates to extend her greeting. “Captain Andone is preoccupied with important affairs, she requested I speak with you in her place.” She explained, smoothly.
Trax continued his scans of the newcomers to the ship nothing seemed to be amiss or a concern for the crew. He just focused on what he needed to do and listened to the others talk to the guests. “I am Trax nice to meet you all.” Trax said with a kind smile on his face. As he turned and conferred with the main medical computer over the results. Before filing the reports on the guests. Every now and then he felt like he was being watched but not by the current staff or the guests. It felt strange he could not tell if it was mechanical in nature or other.

“Lucana,” DeVries tilted her head, folding her arms over her chest, “you said you and your associates were seeking asylum. May I ask why?” She approached the matter carefully, like a sister tiptoeing around her sibling’s grief. She doubted bashing them with questions was going to get them anywhere, even if it would have been much quicker.

Trainor remained quiet for the moment, trying to read their emotional state. The Operations Chief saw from Starr’s body language that she had her suspicions about their guests, as he did too.

”…You would not understand our reasons, we ask to speak to your Captain directly..” Lucana said crossing her arms, she seemed to be distrusting and on edge but otherwise seemed a usually honest sort.

“We’re not in the business of turning over those who request asylum. ” Tenzing stated as he took a step forward. “I’m sure the Captain would like to speak with you as well but if you hadn’t noticed by the rocking of the ship earlier, she’s a bit busy.” He added, hoping they’d calm down a tad to open up more.

”..Then we will wait..” Lucana said crossing her arms stubbornly about her chest. Given the CO said once they were cleared from exams to call her it would seem now would be as good a time as any to see if she was free.
Simon carefully observed the guests that had been beamed aboard. Watching how they responded to the responses, and kept an eye out for any hostile actions.

Moving off to the side, the Operations Chief pressed his comm badge. =^=Commander Trainor to Bridge: Our guests are ready for your arrival, Captain… they’re pretty set on seeing you, and only you.=^= Tenzing tapped his badge once more and returned to the group.
“She’ll be on her way shortly.” He informed the guests.
