Simon stepped out of the briefing room just behind the captain, taking a seat in the XO chair, listening to what the scientist discovered as the captain asked him what they found.
Lieutenant Simon Starr, XO
“Captain, the science probe found a part of the Brown Town’s port nacelle pylon intact and I ordered NE Ensign to bring it aboard. I felt it was something that we could not, and should not, pass up” responded Frogue.
Tenzing had nearly forgotten how small the ships were of that time period, when he heard the nacelle was going to be stored in their shuttlebay. “I’ll begin clearing the bay so it can be brought aboard.” The Operations Chief announced as he sent word to Shuttlebay 4.
Trainor
Ops“Unless there is any objections, I would like to head to shuttlebay 4 and see what our recovered part can tell us, sir” asked Frogue.
Frogue
”..Commander Trainor and Lt Frogue take a team and begin going over the nacelle see what you can find. Given Traleen said the problems started there it might provide more of a clue how things went wrong and they wound up here..” She said.
“Aye sir” came the response from Lt. Frogue.
Turning then to the helm station she said, “..NE Barry, set us on a course back to Federation space. Warp 6 and engage..” She stated.
Turning to Starr she idly commented as Barry took the ship to warp. “..It’ll be a long four months it seems..” she said.
