Trax was in his office to finish off paperwork and waited for the inspections that were to possibly follow after such a long mission. Music was playing quietly in the background as he took a sip of tea as he placed the final padd to the side to the corner of his desk to get the files and the padds put away. He was rather glad he was back in federation space but at the same time he was not liking the fact that the exile from Betazed still lingered on his mind and no way to go home. As he stood up gave the padds to the nurse for filing and such. “I know you all are busy getting things done but I want to express my gratitude for all of the hard work you have done and the exceptional service you have done to this ship. Thank you all.” Trax said with a smile. “After your done with work you are all on break for a bit till were all docked. then we will go from there on who has time for shore leave first.” Trax said calmly as he walked back to his office and grabbed his cup of tea and placed the cup into the replicator for return processing. He turned around to see the boys there looking at him. “Well, Hello Ambassador Roni Raul and Ambassador aide Raxx. I guess you guys are off back to Betazed.” He asked softly. Knowing that mother would not give him or them the end of grief over the matter of him not being around. “Well, I am heading home but your Guard insists on staying for the time being. ” Ambassador said I have a few things to get done back home but I will be back I told your captain that I am returning after I get my work situated there and Raxx was done with his before we left the first time so he has no issues on staying.” As he gave them a wink. The doctor smiled at the news of Raxx was staying for the time being. “Are you stay in your own quarters or are you coming to stay with me in mine? I do have plenty of room Raxx. I have a nice couch to sleep on or you can use the spare room.” The doctor said with a grin. He felt sad that the ambassador had to go but he knew he would be back before the next mission. “Good Journey Roni.” He said quickly as he knew he needed to get to the next transport to Betazed by Betazed ship or another starship going that way. As the doctor came up and gave the man a big deep hug. Before backing off and joining RAxx next to him and held his hand briefly. He watched as Roni left as he turned to Raxx with a tear in his eyes. he held the man for a good minute to get moral support for the doctor as the doctor released him. “I have to go and get my bags moved to your cabin. I will be back shortly. Then we can talk about where we’re going to go for diner and maybe visit some sites on earth.” Raxx suggested calmly to him as he left to do what he needed as the doctor wiped his tears. He finished off his dusting off the bookcases and shelves and desk in the office and straightening the desk. He walked out to the main area again checking over the lobby and the reception area and the main part of sickbay and the labs nearby and supply closest. “Well, it looks like we are all ready for the inspection and the time off we all need from this last mission. Trax said with a smile. “We only need one nurse and one doctor on duty here now so any volunteers on duty shifts? Who wants what shifts and they they can focus on there R&R. ” Trax said calmly to them all. “I will take the first two shifts here in sickbay this way there is no rushing to get back from break. And I have nothing planned right now as for the nursing same deal Raxx will help me if necessary if anything arises. Go enjoy yourself you have earned it. Oh here!” as he gave them a small bag with a few pieces of Latium in them. “I know there a few venders that still use the money to acquire things so here is something special from me to you to with my love and thanks. enjoy!” as they all smiled and looked at there bags briefly and left sickbay with a smile and full of joy.
