Drudoc simply nodded next to Tel’eck, then went inside. Faval said nothing outright and did the same with his son Ron’al. Both were quick to take the visitor seats inside the office. The children made to stand in front of the desk by their parent’s. The NE security guards took their leave since well what were two kids going to do with three adults present?

Following the children and parents into his office, Soval took up his post behind his desk. He looked to the two children, then their parents. “I apologize for the necessity of this meeting.” Looking back to the children. “Perhaps Mr. Ron’al would brief us on the indecent that has brought us here?” The youth should be given a chance to redeem himself, but he turned knowing eyes to Tel’eck and raised his his index finger to his lips in a human gesture for silence.

LC Soval.

Tel’eck didn’t seem to be told to be quiet, that was a clear enough action for her to do so without being told.

Ron’al though was also quiet for multiple minutes. He clearly knew he was in trouble, and knew no lie could get past the witnesses nor the security logs if they were checked. “..We’re waiting Ron’al, I have experiments to continue in the engineering labs, let’s just get this over with…” Came from his father.

Muttering only enough to be heard and understood he finally relented. “..I stole a sweet treat from one of the children Tel’eck and I were with in 17/18 Forward. Tel’eck tried to get it back but instead I smashed it in her face. I taunted her about her mixed-race, and family. Then she punched me so I punched back and well next thing we were brawling on the ground knocking stuff over till we got broken up..” He said.

Drudoc seemed to want to say something in question but let Soval handle this, stepping on his toes now or interrupting would only interfere with her oath to not let personal life mix with her work on the ship. It was clear though she wanted to know just what Ron’al had said about Tel’eck’s mixed-race and family.

“Do you have anything to add Mr. Tel’eck?” Despite the fact that the sensor logs would have revealed the truth, Soval was relieved that Ron’al had chose to seek a margin of redemption with the truth.

”..Only that, he implied I was weak, my Mother was weak and my Father left us twice cause of that. Which isnt true! My father died a hero saving me from a runabout decompression and the second time fighting off the Vohrsoth and rescuing hundreds of Romulan and Remans they were torturing!” She said somewhat heatedly glancing at Ron’al and his father.

Ron’al’s father finally spoke. “..A tragedy which could have been avoided had the Romulans before they were captured not been performing red matter experiments in the system which as I’m sure your Mother can verify drew their attention from subspace..” Farval said stoically.

Drudoc who had kept quiet, finally spoke. “..While you may be right Lieutenant, that does not excuse your son’s actions nor his words to my daughter, nor the insults they brought.” She said firmly.

”..Perhaps not Captain, but it does show that time and again your people fail to see the wisdom of logic and control which they would have and prevent tragedies like what happened to your husband a second time, not to mention the loss of the USS Armature that was escorting us..” He replied.

”..Don’t you dare blame my Mom for that!” Tel’eck said. “..She…” the girl began but a firm hand on her right shoulder made her go quiet.

”..Enough Tel’eck.” Regarding Soval then, “..Commander, despite the Lieutenant’s feelings on my actions in a previous mission, and actions made by the Star Empire. How do you wish to proceed with this infraction of conduct by both parties?” she said letting the XO determine the punishments for Ron’al and Tel’eck if he felt the need.

Soval waited quietly, his instinct was to call the adults down and preceded in a business like manor to address the legal and disciplinary issues. Alas no, as he had suspected it was a parental issue that needed resolved.

Keying a request for the Chief Counselor to attend.

“Can I depend on you two to wait in the hall with out further violence or should I summon security back? Your parents and I have must have a conversation.” Soval was not pleased with the behavior of the parents. He regretted not simply asking ‘Do you agree’. Much further damage could have been avoided.

Tel’eck gave a nod, and after a second so did Ron’al. Both got off their chairs and went out into the hall as ordered.

Drudoc and Faval in turn regarded the XO to continue from there.

OOC: Let’s wait to proceed from here till the CNS arrives and posts…

Dinui walked down the corridor at a slightly brisk pace, she wasn’t entirely certain that her summons was about the altercation in the lounge with the children and the pastries. She hadn’t heard the start of the fight but she would do her best to help. Though if it was a completely unrelated matter she would be more than happy to offer her assistance. She noticed the children in the corridor outside of Soval’s office she raised her eyebrows slightly as she walked closer and pressed the chime.
