Watley looked over at the ensign. “We have some suspicious characters in the med bay and a captain who is more interested in talk than action it would appear.” He smiled at Tolly. I’m hoping not to run into trouble, but I’m not exactly afraid of it ensign. Just maintain your post here until we work the situation out, and be ready to aid the captain should she need it.”

Codem crossed his arms and looked at Drudoc. “We’re simply trying to accomplish our mission and save our ship. It’s relatively stable, but we just don’t have the parts to fix it out in the nebula, and we want to get the data of the system too, maybe earn ourselves a promotion.” He said, causing a couple of the others to nod. “As for why the shuttle records don’t state such a transfer is beyond us, the Chief Engineer was supposed to log it in, as was the Corps. None of us are high enough in pay grade to worry about that.”

“The emissions, last time we fixed them, were due to busted relays in the deflector dish. I can’t say if that’s what it is now, but that’s a potential cause.” Izzin said, his eyes never leaving Codem.

While the others voiced their agreement to Codem’s statement, S’Dan remained as quiet and stoic as he had the entire time.

Drudoc clearly didn’t believe what was going on here, something wasnt adding up but yet she did not have solid evidence to throw any of them in the brig directly. “..Once our medical staff clear you of this possible flu and our counselor certifies you mentally fit individually you will be escorted to your guest quarters. Where until we verify your story one way or another you’ll remain. The safety of my ship is paramount I won’t risk that on possible contaminants or those who for some reason could be lying to my staff and I for their own selfish gains..” She stated rising.

”..Unless any of you got further statements or questions that is my decision for now.” Drudoc said looking hard at each person.

Dr. Marshall stepped forward and made eye contact with some of her staff. She nodded at the Captain She looked at Codem and his cohort. “Why don’t you each step back to a biobed so we can get started on some more thorough scans.” She looked at each of them in turn. “Once we have you all cleared I am sure our security staff will happily show you to your quarters.”

OOC: Ok to start wrapping this up…

Sickbay’s scans finally started coming back in on their guests on the biobeds. The more in depth scans picked up a strange chemical in the blood streams of all those present with a ‘controlling’ agent of sorts in the blood stream of Codem. At the Captain’s questioning more in depth and not believing their story things began to happen quickly. Codem jumped up from the biobed and shouted “..Enough of this! Grab hostages!” the other five began to move for nearby nurses or NE doctors but with the presence of security on hand and on guard things were never in too much danger. A short scuffle of NE’s with their guests soon had them under control and wrestled back onto the biobeds.

Flailing under the now held forcefield control. Codem began to shout madly. “..No! I need to find it! I need to find the paradise!” he said.

This was echoed in turn by his compatriots in some form, though what ‘paradise’ was exactly was anyone’s guess.

Drudoc meanwhile shook her head. Turning to the COS nearby. “..Keep a close watch on them. Anymore trouble and just beam them to the brig..” She said.

Looking to the CMO then, “..What was the beeping of your scans showing before that little scuffle?” She asked regarding the controlling agents.

Hayley startled when the Captain spoke. She had been studying the scan results so intently that she had barely noticed the scuffle between Security and the passengers. “They all appear to be drugged in some fashion Sir. It’s nothing recognizable but based on it’s biochemistry it would seem to be some kind of synergistically paired mind control dug. Codem appears to have the ‘Controller’ in his bloodstream while the others are rendered his ‘puppets’ for want of a better term.” She transferred the data from her tricorder to the main Sickbay Lab Computer and brought the results up on the display. “It seems to be isolated within the circulatory system. A simple Plasmaphoresis treatment should have it out of their systems shortly.”

Jr. Lt. Marshall, CMO

At the sound of scuffles inside the med bay Watley entered with his team, with his eyes ablaze, ready for action. His grin dropped when he saw the situation was already under control. “Damn.” He muttered to himself. He looked over to the CMO and Commanding officer. After listening to the Doctor’s diagnosis, he shrugged. “We could through em in the brig until then.” He commented sarcastically.
