It was just after the white flash that had snapped the Ark Angel who knew where. Down on deck 23 in one of the ship’s schools the teacher’s had gathered the pre-school to middle school aged children (3-13ish I figure) when the holiday pranks from Q had begun to get out of hand. It was such when the Ark Angel got flashed white that none of the school children in this area were hurt more then some simple bumps and tumbles.

Rounding out some of the more notable children in the room was the 13 year old daughter of the ship’s Captain, Tel’eck who had been with her friend Sarah entertaining the younger children with their built remote controlled robot EXR-11. Also present was Tabris’s gaggle of kids Neltus, Vedi, Mecona, and Julin, as well as several other NC kids of various ages in this range. All were only now recovering with groans and sniffles while the teacher’s sang out calls to each other getting emergency lights back online from the dedicated class room power supply locker.

Fayth was on her way from deck 13 to deck 44. She decided to step onto deck 23 to check the school rooms. She was on the way anyway and security, operations, command, all had their hands full at the moment and with comms having been down it wouldn’t hurt to peak in. If Cpt Andone could send out a general message that the children were okay and secure it would help ease the stress for a lot of the crew. And as a DH wasn’t that part of her job? She stepped down the corridor and approached the door. It was sticking and not wanting to open but she managed to push it open despite the overwhelming turmoil of the emotions of the children. Maybe this wasn’t the smartest idea. Sharah had a weakness when it came to children’s emotions. But she got the door to open and close behind her.

She walked up to the teacher pulling her aside away from the children, “Comms are coming back online but text is better for the moment. Is your dedicated power supply working? Power should be restored soon. It would be a huge help if you could keep the children here until their parents come to get them. And that might be awhile.”

NTeacher Billy turned as the door opened. Lights were on though on a conservation power from the dedicated supply for the room. “..Ah Lieutenant, yes our power supply and resources are secured. The children are a bit anxious and scared but we’re getting a handle on things. Rest assured they are in good hands here. Do you know what happened? We were getting reports of holiday pranks around the ship which the children were excited to hear, coupled with a little visit from EXR-11 and as you can imagine then this all happened.” He said.

Fayth wasn’t sure exactly what to tell them. They didn’t know exactly. “We aren’t entirely sure. It seems to be one of those days. I was on my way to check some systems, and with comms down I wanted to check and make sure everything was alright. I’m sure the parents would appreciate knowing. And for the children to know that everyone is safe. A few minor injuries among the crew, but we are all safe.” As had become her habit, Fayth had a PaDD with her. She typed a quick message that appeared on the Captains display at her chair.

Julin was the first to see a familiar face as he toddled over with a concerned look as he said, “Sharah? Where daddy Abis?” He asked as he held his little arms up to be held with the most adorable little pout and those puppydog eyes. Mecona was standing with NTeacher Billy and holding close to his legs, still a little shy but wanting to trust in him as an authority figure. She looked over and said, “Is Uncle Joseph coming?” Meanwhile the older boys were watching as Tel’eck wheeled around EXR-11 and Neltus leaned over to Vedi and said, “She’s pretty....” Vedi looked at Neltus and punched him in the arm. “She’s like a teenager we don’t… I mean… you don’t stand a chance!” Neltus blushed and then it hit him what his brother had said “You think she’s pretty too huh…” Vedi just blushed and said, “Dude knock it off…” Neltus took a deep breath and swallowed hard as he said, “I’m going to go talk to her…” Vedi scampered from his desk and said, “Me too!” They approached and Neltus said, “That’s a cool robot, Vedi and I here built one too…” Vedi chimed in and said, “Yeah it wasn’t remote controlled either!”
