Nurse Shaw had placed herself just inside the door of Sickbay 1 - having taken charge of Triaging the injured as they entered. Those needing the most urgent treatment she had assisted by other staff onto Biobeds for treatment. There was more than enough space for everyone so she shortly had them all organized. Nurses floated from Biobed to biobed, providing care as directed by those doctors in residence. Hayley was at Biobed 3, treating NE Jones for a particularly nasty laceration.

Ensign Lana finished reading the scans of a patient, told the nurse a few things that the nurse should keep an eye on, and prepared to move to the next patient. Before making it, she saw the Lt. Taking a moment to stop next to her, she asked. “Lt.. what in the hell happened that led to all this?”

Ensign Charra Lana, medical officer

Hayley looked up from from the wound she was treating and replied, “The Q continuum seems to have taken an interest in the Ark Angel and all of us aboard. We’ve been tossed mightily off course and left to deal with the consequences or so it appears. That’s really all I know so far. Hopefully the Captain will update us when she knows more.”

Ensign Lana nodded, and moved past to her next patient, and started running scans.

A bit later the injured in Sickbay 1 were being tidied up and sent back to their quarters or work assignments. It was a good moment to catch their breath and tidy up the Sickbay for any future events.

Once everyone had been treated and Sickbay 1 was empty of patients Hayley and the staff set to making sure everything was cleaned and restocked. Once Sickbay was back in shape and ready for anything (again) staff were able to rotate through some break time and recover from all the activity. Hayley headed to her office and sank gratefully into her chair with some hot chocolate from the replicator. Reports from Sickbays two and three stated things were well under control and getting reorganized as well. Hayley sent quick messages of commendation to Drs Suder, Lana, and Locke for their exemplary handling of the unforeseen event and then took a break herself.
