[snip]Hayley sat at her desk, a cup of green tea sitting cold and forgotten off to one side, pondering the Captain’s announcement. It was hard for her to get her head around the incredible distance they had been sent by the Q. After a very long minute of trying, she decided to let it be and focus on the things she could control. She sent a message via her PADD out to her medical officers requesting a staff meeting in one hours time. She also sent a message asking CSO Fayth if she would be able to join them as well. While she waited for the meeting time she disposed of her cold tea and acquired a new one.
Fayth sent back that she would be meeting with her staff at 1100 hours and would stop by before then and stay as long as she could.
After making her rounds of the Arboretums and civilian staff Fayth entered Sickbay. She had a moment of sadness and nostalgia for no longer being part of the medical staff, but she pushed it aside and entered the office. “Dr. Marshall. How are you doing?”

A little later a comm message came in from the bridge =/\= Senior staff briefing in 15 minutes, all department heads have your report ready by then. Andone out =/\= She said.

Hayley startled as the message came through. She smiled wryly at Lt. Fayth as they both processed the message. “Well, I think we may have to postpone. Looks like the Captain beat me to it.” She stood and indicated the door. “After you?”
OOC: Guess we can close this post, was just trying to fill time until things started moving again. :)

Sharah nodded and got up from the seat she had only just sat down in. “Anything in particular you want discuss on the way there?” She headed back out the door and towards the nearest turbolift.
