Sharah stepped out of the turbolift on deck 14 and turned left away from the security offices and towards Aboretum 1. She entered and called out, “Andrea?” She found the civilian lead botanist down the center path. “Lt. what can I do for you?” Sharah smiled, but didn’t join Andrea in her work as she usually would. “Lt Cmdr Trainor has the supplies for a hydroponics bay waiting for you and the rest of the staff in the cargo bay. You can go pick it up at any time. I was thinking the other half of Arboretum 3 but there is room also in one of the smaller unused cargo bays. I leave it to you to figure out the best place. Also, I brought up your farm idea and it’s a go. So let me now what you need. You have my permission to grab anyone from science you need as they are available. I’ll be in the shuttle bay if you need me.” Andrea blinked and Sharah was already gone. It wasn’t like the Lt to not stay and work, which told Andrea how urgent the situation was. She grabbed a couple of other staff and headed down to the cargo bay to get the materials for the hydroponics system.Sharah stopped by the labs and grabbed a couple NEs, gave Genard and Riley quick updates and left them to their work. Then, PaDDs and tricorder in hand she headed to the shuttle bay. =^=Lt Fayth to En Asam. Could you grab a few engineering NEs and meet me in the shuttle bay. Your name was on the list I got from the CE that was available to help us out.=^=
Tabris heard the chime come through and he stopped the diagnostics he was working on and tapped his badge, =/\= Understood Lieutenant, I’ll have a crew to your location shortly =/\= Tabris thought the formality was a departure from what was normally spoken between them but didn’t think much of it as they were friends yes, but on duty. He looked over to NC’s Davis and Xartec and said, “Grab some diagnostic scanners, a basic tool kit, probably an advanced tool kit, some luck, and lets get going. I’ll grab a set of each myself.”
She stepped into the shuttle bay and looked around. “Alright everyone take a different craft. Bring NE Mosek all the tricorders. We have some additional information to add to them. And” she tapped her PaDD and sent a file to each of theirs, “Add this list of resources to the standard search and scan protocol. These are resources each department needs to keep going, so if we can find them so we don’t run out, that’s good for all of us. Basic sensor diagnostics and check all science stations to make sure they are fully stocked and nothing is out of date.” She nodded and they all go to work.
Lt. jg Fayth, CSOTabris entered the room with his crew in tow and said, Crewman Davis start with NE Mosek to make sure that they don’t need anything from our side and then head to the far end of the bay and start the diagnostics. While those are running take a visual inspection of each vessel and make sure that there isn’t anything obvious. Afterwords start by taking the impulse manifolds down for a good clean, I know we’ve had other priorities and follow that up by making sure the dilithium crystals are in good order. I know that they are in a regeneraton chamber but I still want to have you put eyes on them. Crewman Xartec you heard what I said to Davis? Do that but on the other side of the bay. I’ll be working from the middle.”

Mosek nodded to Davis, “I’m running diagnostics on all the tricorders, and then adding this program of Lt Fayth’s to them all. Brilliant really, it scans for chemical compounds that can be used to make medicines in emergency situations and tells you how to do it. Also adding this list,” the stoick Andorian held up a PaDD, “of raw materials the ship needs to run to standard scans. If you can, I could use help in increasing their scanning sensativity, but there is a lot of work to be done, and I won’t keep you.”
Davis listened intently as while he was an engineer, he loved science and figuring out how to improve. He reached for the pad, his dark skin contrasting with the Andorians as he said, “Let me get the process going on the shuttle and I’ll be right back.” He bounded off towards the shuttle and plugged in his maintenance tools, bypassing the need for the an authorization code as he started the process and the computer simply beeped in response. He checked the crystals haphazardly, missing the telltale cracking at the base of the dilithium array and headed outside to look around, noting some burnt patches but nothing too out of the ordinary. He made his way back to Mosek and said, “Alright I’ve got about 20 minutes before that diagnostic report is done. Let me crack one of these tricorders open and we’ll see what we can do.”
Sharah was entering the Fulcrum-class science vessel. “Computer, enter maintenance and work mode.” The vessel hummed and powered up and the computer chirped, “Access code required.” Sharah blinked, wha? Oh right, she had those. “Fayth omega 9 5 2” “CODE ACCEPTED ENTERING MAINTANENCE WORK MODE”
“Computer start a level 1 diagnostic of all internal and external sensor systems.” The computer trilled and announced the amount of time needed. Sharah entered the science lab first. She started by checking the inventory list and then comparing it to what was actually on the shuttle. She also placed all the tricorders she found in a box and sent them out to Mosek to work on. There were things missing. She grabbed her PaDD and looked and tapped her combadge =^= Winters, we’re short supplies. I’m sure the other shuttles are as well. But inventory logs show they came onboard with our last supply shipment. Head to the cargo bay and get anything allocated for the auxiliary craft and bring it here.=^=
Lt jg Fayth, CSO
Xartec worked diligently on the shuttle he was assigned to, actually taking note of what was wrong and what needed repair while Tabris joined Sharah in the science vessel and started to take many of the interior panels off, revealing the inner workings of the ship so he could begin inspection and any preventative maintenance work.
