[snip]It was an hour or two after the mission briefing earlier in the day since Q had stranded them in this galaxy. Drudoc had decided to check in on various staff and sections of the ship where she could. Her latest endeavor was bringing her to the assorted engineering support labs for main engineering. She knew that her chief engineer and her staff were already hard at work trying to figure out a way home. She figured a check in on their efforts and to reassure them was in order to avoid anyone overly straining themselves. Privately Drudoc wondered, but would not admit it outright how they might get home without Q’s assistance. Straightening her uniform she pressed the chime to the enginerring lab where she knew the chief engineer would likely be.

The Door opened and a Young lady with long blond hair stood in the doorway she was tall and quite beautiful though not very shapely this was NE Rockbell she had her uniform on however she had a pair of welding goggles over her eyes “Oh Captain How can I help you today?” she asked giving the captain a kind smile and moving out of the way of the door to let the captain in

”..Just checking in on the crew. How are things down here? Is Lt Miz’uki about?” Drudoc inquired taking a look around to see what the junior staff were working on.

NE Rockbell’s face fell, “Uhhh no, she has…well To be honest I am a little worried about her captain she has not taken the news all that well about us being so far from home well. She has not come out of her office since the staff meeting, I do get what she is going through though. my Boyfriend NE Mek’tan is posted on the USS John Paul Jones, and he explained to me that Caitians being very family-oriented sometimes have a hard time mentally when they are out of contact range with those they consider family. Beyond their shipmates that is, it’s why you don’t see many Caitians on the deepest exploration missions.” the petite human ensign explained, the name hinting her significant other was in fact a Caitian. “Not to mention, she did just get done having a meeting with Lieutenant Sher’idan. For some reason she always seems VERY uncomfortable around Lieutenant Sher’idan.” NE Rockbell added, brushing some of her long blonde hair out of her face. “In the meantime would you like to see what I am working on with Medical? I am trying to improve replacement prosthetic limbs giving them even more function, more durable, but lighter and…” the Ensign was continuing on, motioning to a table where a Medical NE was also working on what looked like a replacement Arm from the shoulder down.
