Miz’uki took another deep breath again, not that it helped, and answered. “Come!” Watching the door open for the Lieutenant, after they walked in Miz’uki motioned to a chair in front of her desk. “Have a seat Lieutenant…would you like a drink?” the Feline chief engineer said, forcing herself to be polite despite her discomfort at the moment.
After the Lieutenant answered, Miz’uki got up and went to the replicator in her office. “One Synth Caitian Peach Brandy,” she ordered adding in whatever her guest wanted as well. if she requested anything. After getting the drink(s) and taking a sip of her own Miz’uki started. “I am sure you understand the situation the ship is currently in?” she asked sitting back down at her desk. “I was just wondering if you might be able to give me some insight into the relays, if there was a jump relay out here, would we be able to link it to Andromeda? and if that’s possible, what would we be looking at in terms of materials, time, manpower, and what not to build just such a relay?” she asked getting right down to what she wanted to talk to Sher’idan about.

”..Assuming there was an active relay in this galaxy, we could program it to tie into any known relay in our data banks. As for building one it would be a massive undertaking something that on our own would not really be possible. In truth all known relays by the Alliance were built by an extragalactic force the Alliance calls The Elder..” She replied.
