As Trainor continued his analysis more readings of the area began to trickle in. There was of course the nebula they had come from nearby where the Fulcrum runabout was picked up on sensors testing out the Boridium conversion on the runabout engines. There also were the strange reality producing anomalies they had picked up and shielded themselves from in various sizes all over the region of space. There was also just on the edge of their sensor range likely indications of two more systems of some kind, one likely a binary star system, the other a trinary star system! Both were putting out high EM bands of radiation on the spectrum as well as high outputs of Bilitrium! Which as Trainor would know was another naturally occuring particle of incredible power if hooked up to an antimatter convertor properly. In the wrong hands though it could be used to collapse wormholes or other gravitic anomalies.
“I’m picking up large quantities of Bilitrium in the two nearby star systems,” Tenzing announced as he brought his scans up on the viewscreen. The Ops Officer knew not to get his hopes up, but he was excited to see exactly how much energy they’d be able to harvest from these systems, and how much they could possibly put into reserves or storage just in case they were stuck out here for an extended period of time. Trainor wanted to gather more information about the two systems before bringing it up to the Captain.
“Lieutenant, it might be a good idea to send out a probe to each of the nearby systems to see exactly how much Bilitrium it contains,” Tenzing added. “What do you think?”
“Trainor tell me what you are looking at right now,” Rainns inquired, looking over at the Operations Chief. “I’m in the mood for some good news right now.” Rainns was still uneasy about the guests on board the ship, distant aliens just being invited on the ship was not how he would have handled the situation, but then again, maybe that was why he was not Captain in the first place.

“We have two nearby star systems.” Tenzing said pointing at his display screen. “One is binary and the other is trinary.... both containing large amounts of Bilitrium, which could easily top off our power systems and reserves.” The Ops Chief explained. The Lieutenant Commander began a search to see if the locals had any idea of what was in those systems, before wasting resources on a probe.
Joseph pondered the information he had just been told. “This sounds like a job for a probe to investigate.” He said after a few moments. “What do you think?”

OOC: Bumping so it doesnt get lost while I wait for you guys to decide what you’ll be doing to investigate :)
“I recommend shooting out a probe to each star system in order to get some scans.” Trainor replied quickly. He didn’t want the shuttle going anywhere near those systems, and it would probably take them awhile to search the systems anyhow. “Then once we receive the scans and download the data, we’ll get a better picture of what we’re working with.”
