A few minutes later an engineering officer arrived as he rang the chime. Trax forced himself to go away from the view As he walked to the door as it opened. “ Ensign Scott reporting as ordered doctor. ” the man said kindly to the doctor.
“Welcome Ensign please come in. I was wondering if it was possible to install a fireplace in my quarters? Since you were an engineer I figured you would know more than I do about this?” Trax said calmly to the man as he took a sip of his drink again.
“I believe its possible doctor but I will confer with the chief engineer about the question and request about installing such an item in your quarters.” Ensign scoot looked where the doctor wished it to be there is a power conduit there and I don’t see any issues with such an item. Trax gave the officer a padd that showed the type of fireplace he wished for. But I will get back with you shortly about this.” the engineer smiled as he left to talk to the chief.

Trax waited n his quarters for a reply as one of the En Engineers returned later with a reply. as the ne tapped the chime to answer. “Come in>” Trax said softy as the doors parted and the ne engineer came in. “I talked to the other engineers there should not be a problem to have a small fireplace installed in your quarters.” the engineer said politely to him. “When is a good time to for the work to get started?” Ttrax asked the officer. “Soon Doctor!” the engineer said kindlly. “‘i will get a better timee for the install for you probally in the next couple of days.” the engineer finished. “Very well! Thak you for getting back to me.” Trax said softly as he saw the engineer leave as the doors closed behind the man then he was alone again.
