CNS Office - Evaluations

Posted Dec. 13, 2021, 9:11 a.m. by Lieutenant Junior Grade Mykl Najjar (Chief Counseling Officer) (D Grisham)

Having inquired of the computer who was due for their yearly evaluation, Lt Najjar prepared a targeted intra-ship memo.

Would the following officers please make an appointment with Counselor Najjar’s office:

Capt Andone
LtCmdr Derida
Lt Anders
Ltjg Belmont
Ltjg Lokaa
Ens Lis
Ens Logan

Thank you,
Counseling Offices

About 45 minutes after the counselor had sent out her messages a return reply came in from Commodore Andone, =/\= Lieutenant, would 1300 hours in 2 days work for you? Assuming other ship events do not conspire to cut the meeting short or be rescheduled? =/\= it read

Drudoc Andone CO

Almost as quickly as if he had been waiting for the message and sitting at a console, Demil sent a response as well. =/\= I am able to be there at your convenience, starting in 10 minutes. 1130 today, maybe? =/\=

Ens. Lis

Mykl responded to both incoming messages in the affirmative—both times were acceptable. Expecting Ens Lis within moments, Najjar pulled up his file and began a quick read in order to be prepared to greet him.

OOC: Rob, we can start a new thread for your evaluation.

—Najjar

(Assuming that means I continue here?)

OOC: Works for me, i’d suggest for organization just to make new threads

GM CockRoach

OOC: Yes, Lis should arrive in this thread.

Demil arrived exactly at 1130 sharp. Once invited in, the young ensign walked into the room and stood at attention facing the counselor. “Ensign Demil Lis, reporting for evaluation as ordered.”

Ens. Lis

Mykl smiled from where she sat behind her desk. “Please relax, Ensign. I don’t stand on formality here. Take a seat wherever you’d like. “I’ve reviewed your file. You seem like a remarkable young man.”

—Najjar

Demil blushed. “Thank you, Ma’am.” He sat down, but only relaxed fractionally. “What should we cover first?”

Ens. Lis

She could see he was still somewhat tense, perfectly normal, so she started easily enough. “Why don’t you tell me how you wound up here on the Ark Angel?” Would he give her the long version or the short? Each of them would tell her something about his personality.

—Najjar, CNS
