A moment later the requested information came up. Current scans of the crew on the Synthesis seemed overall stable. No signs of real distress were being shown, and overall everything seemed in order. So it did not seem like they were dealing with say energy beings, or some other form of life that wasnt known to them or expected.
As the scans completed though on a second pass one thing this time did briefly for .02 seconds blip onto scans. =/\= Organic anomaly detected =/\= The computer intoned.
Then on screen a zoomed in view of the Synthesis’s computer core showed a .02 second anomaly of unknown source showing signs of organic nature......then as suddenly as it was there it was gone!

“Hmm, well that was odd.” Doctor Stacey said to himself, as he typed the occurrence in his notes. “Computer, why didn’t this anomaly show up before?” Gavin asked. The Doctor rewound the scans in hopes that the computer saved a memory of where the anomaly was detected in the computer core. Ensign Stacey wasn’t sure exactly how Synthesis’s computer core could cause their series of events, but anything out of the ordinary was suspect.
The computer soon replied to Stacey’s inquiry. =/\= The organic anomaly was not present in previous scans =/\= It said. Sure enough though rewinding the scans of just a moment ago did show the organic pattern briefly on record. But if they went back further from earlier scans nothing showed up.
The Doctor’s next steps were to figure out the type of organic this anomaly was, and then hand it off to the engineers so they could check out that ship’s computer core.

The organic anomaly seemed to brief in structure and format to really identify it. Closer scans in person on the ship would be needed if possible to get a better reading if it showed up again. But from what little Stacey could tell from the brief blip it seemed to be some measure of organic complexity.
