[snip]Trax’s trip on the turbolift was short, dropping him out just down the hall from the upper recreation hall on deck 18. Entering the hall he quickly found various off duty personnel relaxing or working out in some form or another. The captain in this case was over by one of the lounging areas in one corner with her back to the wall on a lounging chair reading some kind red covered book. As he got closer he could see the book’s title was called ‘Honeymoon On Deimos’. It had a quite romance laden artwork picturing some kind of human female in tight fitting spandex with two large guns fighting something off the cover while a handsome striking male human in the background looked on worriedly. Unless Trax would miss his guess on the topic matter it seems the Captain was indulging in some kind of action romance novel reading.

Trax smiled when he spotted her. He casually and calmly walked over to her before he spoke. “Excuse me Sir is this seat taken?” Trying to be not sounding like trax as he waited for a reply from her. Hoping this was a surprise to her as he held a padd in his hands. “A romance Novel?! Interesting I hope the book is good?” Trax added with a small quiet laugh. Hoping she would look up at him. Before he spoke the old familiar words to her.

Drudoc looked up from her lounging chair shutting the red covered book. There was a brief red tint to her cheeks at Trax’s declaration of finding out about her guilty pleasure of reading a romance novel. Quickly though her usual mask of professionalism returned. “..Ah yes, it is a quite engaging novel..” Then obviously trying to change the subject she put the book aside and looked back once more to Trax. “..So then how can I help you Ensign Suder?” she inquired.

“Well, I am reporting in sir! I was not trying to make you feel uncomfortable. I was hoping to be more of a surprise to you. He calmly handed his padd to her with no other word. Unless he was asked anything. All he wanted to do now was leave and disappear but he held his ground.
