Gavin shook his head in reply. “Not that I know of, Ma’am.” The Doctor stated. Ensign Stacey hadn’t received any updates from the medical side of the mission, and he only knew that the away team was still going over the Synthesis’s systems still. “It was only a matter of time before the away team would have found these scans too, if their search was in-depth, though if they end up finding it in any other system we could be looking at some level of intelligence.” Gavin wasn’t a systems analyst or else he’d be more helpful in that area. “And if that’s the case, we might want to worry about it jumping to the Ark Angel as well.”

”..Agreed Ensign. Get a pair of security NEs to accompany you with any free engineers. Get an in-depth in person scan of our own computer cores, let’s start there then proceed outward. Keep me apprised..” She said.

Gavin nodded and returned the PaDD to his back pocket. While not an Engineer, it wouldn’t be too hard to find something organic in the ship’s computers. As a precaution, he’d have the computer run a scan first. “Main Engineering!” Doctor Stacey called out to the turbolift after stepping inside.

Not long after Stacey had gone on her way then her comm badge beeped =/\= Andone to Ensign Stacey, just after you left we received a comm call from Ensign Logan. It seems they’ve picked up some strange giggle like sounds on their patrol deck. Suggesting you reroute and join them to check it out..=/\= Drudoc said.

Gavin paused for a moment, as he digested what he had just been told. It sounded to him like Ensign Logan was chasing a ghost; random giggles. =^= I copy, ma’am.=^= Ensign Stacey called out, ending the communication.

“Computer, reroute me nearest to Ensign Logan’s position!” The Doctor said as he unholstered his tricorder in anticipation.

=^= Doctor Stacey to the Bridge!=^= The Ensign called out, =^= I’m starting to think that anomaly found on the other ship’s core is now on the Ark Angel, Captain.=^= Gavin stated. There wasn’t another reason for what they saw, and it was too much of a coincidence. =^= Ensign Logan and I just saw what appeared to be a pair of girls wearing ancient Earth clothing, throwing a ball back and forth to one another.=^= Ensign Stacey explained.

=^=My tricorder scans didn’t reveal anything as if they didn’t exist; our crew on the Synth didn’t report anything odd like this?=^= Gavin asked. He was hoping others were reporting the same occurrence or else Logan and himself would be locked in the looney bin.

Lieutenant Marlaa entered the bridge and glanced around. Her ebony hair had a slight blue tint in the deck lights and the shoulder length tears were pulled back with a large barrette of black that matches the bottom of her uniform.

Eyes of sapphire blue hazel gazed around and lighted on the Captain. Strong closer, she waited till a moment in the conversation were the usual lull occurred and nodded with a slight smile. “Captain, with two Away Teams out, I thought I might be of use up here?”

If anyone sized the woman up, conflicting thoughts would occur. One was that the compact woman was more likely to be a hindrance than a help in a tight situation. One of those officers that would need help just to find the exit of a smoky deck room.

But if one looked a little closer, they’d start to second guess that assumption. While not overly looking around, her head cocked slightly at every console bro and sniper of conversation above a whisper amongst the bridge crew. Her hands, clapped in front of her were calloused slightly from some type of consistent practice, most likely a weapon or fisticuffs. Her Romulan heritage shown quite prominent in her features and her demeanor was no different as she stood at a near attention nearby.
