Taking her chair Drudoc harended her gaze and gripped the chair’s edge. “..NE Marsh,” She said to the ensign at helm, “..Bring us about and take evasive action, manuver Andone Delta 3..” She said, directing her voice to the NLtjg at the tactical station at the rear of the ship she said, “..NLt Gorge, target RSS Horn’s Claw’s engines and weapons, if we can disable them, perhaps Commander Rasa will stand down to listen further..” She said.

”..Aye ma’a..” Gorge said who looked to Luna, “..Ensign! Get to tactical station 2! Work to refine targeting assignments..” he said.

” I sir, she said quickly taking her station” she worked as quickly as she could.

As the Angel began its maneuvers a combined pair of plasma bolts shot from both warbirds and despite NE Marsh’s efforts the bolts both struck home on the Ark Angel’s forward port shields. While the damage was overall minimal the feedback of both impacts took the shields from 94% to 78%, the bleed through of the impact fed back through the ship and by chance overloaded tactical station 1 where NLt Gorge was at, the sparks showered into his face causing him to stumble back half blind and injured. Thankfully due to the refined safety measures the Mythology class used for lessening such things Gorge was down and out for now but less injured they he would have been otherwise. The station was for now offline, but the tactical functions were automatically rerouted to tactical 2 where Luna had just taken up station.

Luna taped her combag =/\= Luna to medical we need a medic on the Bridge Lt. Gorge has been injured=/\=

”..Marsh! Evasive pattern Andone Alpha 9,” Drudoc said, glancing back over her shoulder and seeing Gorge was out of action she spoke firmly to Luna, “..Ensign! Get us firing solutions as ordered! Target the Horn’s Claw and fire on their engines and weapons now!” She said. Meanwhile another pair of NEs from the science station had come over to attend to Gorge medically.

” What does it look like i’m doing.” Luna growled back as she continued to work. Once she could get the systems targeted the fireded as ordered. ” I thought we were friends with the Romulans” Luna asked.

Luna’s snarky response to Drudoc’s order was not replied too by the Commodore, but given how stickler the Romulan woman was for discipline and order likely Luna may get a small comment on it later when they weren’t in danger. NE Franks over by the operations console chimed in to the second part of Luna’s comment. “..We sort of our back in our own time. But these two warbids are from the late 23rd century. Seems they don’t care about the facts the Commodore told them of..” he said.

” so crazy timey wimmy stuff” Luna said.

K’sang growled as he rushed to take up the science console. ” Useless t’ooho’mIrah, this frequency was designed by a lo’Be Vos.” he muttered as he rotated the shield frequency. “Shields at seventy eight percent and holding.”

As Luna’s phaser and photon torpedo bursts went out the streaks of phaser fire lanced along the aft quarter shields of the targeted RSE Horn’s Claw. The warbird’s aft shields went from 100% to 61% as the phaser and 3 of the 5 torpedoes hit home. Targeted systems dropped from 100% efficiency to 83% efficiency before being knocked offline.

Meanwhile aft firing disruptor fire from the Horn’s Claw and another burst of disruptor fire from the RSE Cold Clutch returned fire on the Ark Angel. The Horn’s Claw’s fire went wide by the evasive maneuvers of Marsh, but the Cold Clutch had zeroed in on the Ark Angel’s aft port quarter along its nacelle and was focusing its fire there, probably trying to target their own drive system’s to disable the ship. Shields upon the impacts went overall from 78% to 73%. Minor scarring was reported on the port nacelle but otherwise no damage came in. Then on sensors the Horn’s Claw and Cold Clutch each accelerated to full impulse and faded from sensors as their cloaks engaged.

”..Hold fire, all weapons!” Drudoc ordered to Luna, “..Helm, adjust course 60 degrees to port, approach the stellar commentary debris at 231 mark 386. Bring us within 70 meters of its surface full impulse!” Drudoc ordered. Refocusing on Luna as the Ark Angel banked hard to port and dove towards the large block of comet ice shards of ice particles and gas were impacting the shields and enveloped the larger ship in places. “..Tactical, focus sensors in all vectors, look for ghosting patterns matching the size of the warbirds. Once you got a pattern, fire all appropriate phasers 10 degrees forward and aft of that location..” She said.

GM CockRoach

” I’m on it” Luna did she started scanning for Ghosting patterns. If and when she found them she would find she would fire only the Phasers. ” I sent there a way to detect them when clocked” She asked.

Moving into the wake of the comet, K’sang began adjusting the parameters of what they were searching for by focusing on the Hydrogen gas.
“Faraday’s law.. Hydrogen is a Diamagnetic substance, but with enough ice we could use the ships emitters to generate an electrolysis effect. Given the cold of space Hydrogen Bonding would occur quickly creating a wide high tension intermolecular field that might make it easier to locate the two vessles if they follow us. In theory, the ships would emit smoke trails in their wake on an atomic level the moment they disturbed our gas bubble.” he paused looking up, “Captain, are you opposed to shooting the comet?”
