It was about 5 days later after the events in The Warrens, with everything now settled regarding that, and more or less everyone recovered and back to normal duty. As had become the Ark Angel’s tradition after every mission, Commodore Andone had announced their usual all day ship gathering for those when off duty between the hours of 0900 hours till 1900 hours. Attendance was not mandatory, but it was ‘encouraged’. It was said that as usual promotions, awards, and such would be likely for those who received such to be celebrated by their fellow crew mates. As was also the usual tradition a dress up theme was being given, though again not mandatory, it was ‘encouraged’ for those coming to take part to help educate and entertain the ship’s younger crew and have fun in general.The theme this time given the events of their last mission were to highlight fashion/cultural trends from either the past, present or theorize about the future in such trends. Dress up had to be appropriate for viewing with the children, and participants had to be ready to do a basic Q/A on their attire and/or culture/time period. The children from the 4-10 age group on the ship would get to vote for their favorites, the winner would get the celebrations of their crew mates, but they also would receive a homemade meal by the ships 15-17 year olds who were part of the ship’s life skills classes for the winner and a guest of their choice.
OOC: In short choose something from the past, present (in trek time), or future (take a fashion/cultural trend in current trek time and extrapolate it X amount of years ahead) it can be from Earth, or any other trek species, if no such information exists make it up but make it fit as best you can with known lore. With all this said, it was now 0900 hours on the day the gathering was to start, for now mostly the 17/18 Forward staff were still busy settling up buffet tables, arranging random decorations in places, or the like.

Little Cereniry was spotted in the hall long befor her mother who was on shift at the moment. She smiled and looked around as she entered. “it so pretty can I help?” She asked one of the staff members.
